Good value, great set from the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
It`s a unique and large project with 2388 pieces for a reasonable price. A similar set from Lego would be tree times the cost. There is a lot of small pieces. Bags are not all individually numbered in sequence but in groups. You end up with about 450 parts to search through for each scenes, which makes finding parts much longer than with latest Lego sets that have gone overboard in trying to minimize the search time. So, instead of being done in a couple of hours like a Lego set, this TOK MOK set takes like 3 days to build. The scene with the moving horizontal blade took a while to assemble. Not sure if i made a mistake somewhere but i had to modify the base of the blade mount in order to make it strait and solid. The elastic is also not positioned correctly in the instructions, it should be made to use all three mount points provided. Overall, it was a lot of fun to build. The minifigures are good. There is a lot of action possible and it is looking good set. You get a lot for the money.
Great set
For the price you canât go wrong. The build quality and experience is very similar to Lego. Easy to follow instructions and some really cool design ideas and features. Bonus, I did not realize that this came with mini figures.
Fantastic Set & Service!
After discovering some pieces missing from my package, I contacted the manufacturer who promptly provided me with replacement parts. Their quick service ensured I could get back to building my Lego Indiana Jones set, I am so excited to see the finished product.I had built up until step 4, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, colours, and most of all the screen printing done on the parts. Unlike a traditional Lego set, there were no stickers involved, which is an absolute must!
Husband enjoyed
Birthday gift for husband. Liked it. Assembled well. Cool movie tricks.
Pretty cool…
Pros: Good, enjoyable build, looks good. A lot of small pieces, be prepared to be patient in the construction. It’s rated as for 8 years old and older – but if this is a first build, it may be too much for the younger range without a fair bit of help from an older person familiar with Lego and similar build practices. Bricks fit well together, snug fit. The four main segments connect together very solidly (i.e. easy to pick up and move the completed assemble). No missing pieces, no misprinted pieces. A few extra pieces in the bags – plus a bag of lots of additional pieces. The mechanisms for the ‘Word of God’ and the ‘Path of God’ segments work well.Comes with 5 minifigs – Indy, Ilsa, Henry, Donovan, and the soldier who loses his head. 6 if you count the knight in the treasure segment – but he’s not a full minifig.Cons: A couple of minor errors in the instructions. The mechanism for the ‘Breath of God’ is a bit flaky.Tips for the ‘Breath of God’:1. If you have other elastics, you may want to try them to get a good tension. I found the enclosed elastic when doubled was too taut, and pulled the anchor for the elastic out of the wall.2. When placing the wall segment that the large disk comes through, don’t press it on completely – when pressed on completely, I couldn’t get the large disk to knock off that wall segment very well.3. Be prepare to have to play around a bit with this trap. I got it working, but it took a little bit of messing around.Funky bit. Product Information on the web site says “dishwasher safe”. Um. Don’t put the whole thing into the dishwasher. It might work OK if you have a fine mesh bag you can put it into 🙂
Great lego build, nice bricks
Pretty great set, I deducted a star because it was missing one piece. It was a standard 2×4 black tile, so I grabbed one out of my daughters lego box and problem perfectly solved. Everything else was there with extra pieces of some of the smaller ones and more uncommon parts. The quality of the bricks nears that of Lego. Solid pieces good strong plastic. The fit was a little tight sometimes (tighter than Lego), but that really just adds to the solidity of the build, so no real issue there.A comparable Lego build would be hugely more expensive, as Lego tends to be way over priced in my opinion. So happy with the price for what you get. Will buy from this company again.
This has been a fun set to built

Pieces Missing
It’s a promising build, instructions aren’t always clear. Pieces fit together weird. At least two pieces missing in my set 🙁
There are times where the name brand building block companies don’t make a model you really want in your collection. I am a big Lego fan and have a decent number of sets displayed throughout my home. While I prefer the name brand overall, there are times I find something unique not directly made by them. These ‘MOC’ sets can be risky though as some are near-name brand quality with others just thousands of poorly made pieces in a bag that you hope include everything you need and directions only via PDF online. Thankfully none of that is an issue with this set! I have all of the name brand Indiana Jones sets and when I saw this MOC set it really looked like a fun take on the Last Crusade finale scenes. Everything comes in a very giftable box, including a very clear and well laid out direction book. The model is made up of four dioramas detailing the different challenges Indy goes through to reach the Holy Grail. The pieces are in numbered bags very logically laid out. You start out building the base of all four scenes then each subsequent bag contains the parts to complete one scene or challenge. The bricks are quite close to name brand quality, with only a few of the larger thin plates requiring a little extra push to fully connect them. Other off brand sets I have used often don’t cleanly meet or attach with small spaces, but that was not an issue with this set. It was really fun how most of the sections have traps that can be triggered by pulling or turning a piece in the front of the model. It was also a nice touch that each challenge section had bricks on the front detailing the challenge phrases used in the film.In addition to the six bags of bricks, an additional bag of extra pieces is included. I only needed to go to these bags twice for a missing piece and suspect it was due to me dropping a brick. Similar to the name brand sets, each bag includes a small number of extra pieces as well. Once completed, I used some of the extra pieces for a little additional detailing though the ‘by the book’ build looked exceptional without my fiddling. There were no decals – yeah! – and all detailed bricks and minifigs had clear decorative designs printed on them. The minifigs all look great and assembled easily. The hands and arms are not attached requiring a little bit of assembly not typically needed in the name brand set. This is not difficult nor an issue, but a minor difference so wanted to note it.If you are into Indiana Jones, building block sets or just a movie fan, this is a great set for your collection.
I have an eight year old grandson who loves Lego and Indiana Jones. He has the most recent Lego Indiana Jones sets. This set showed up while while I was looking. This particular looked awesome, had good reviews, and was on sale, so I bought it. I’m so glad I did. My grandson loves it. His dad built the set with him and they didn’t have any problems. They sent me a video afterwards and this set is awesome! There is so much to it and it’s pretty big. Great Set! We really do recommend it.
Son is a Indiana fan and was looking for a last minute gift idea. He was very pleased with it. Took a few hours to get it all put together and he has it up on his display shelf in his room now.
This set is very detailed and each zone is interactive. Some annoying assembly moments with faulty design of locked down walls and rubber band function. But worth it in the end. Really thoughtful details to bring back favorite movie moments.
Great set for the Indiana Jones fan in your life. The motions in the set make it really cool for your child to relive the moments from the Indiana Jones movies.
