Great classic sandal
These are great, versatile sandals. Waterproof and very comfortable. Fit true to size.I did get some blisters on the side of my foot the first time I wore them all day and walked a lot – like most new shoes, theyâll probably rub in a spot that isnât used to friction and it helps to break them in first – but this resolved quickly and was easily eased with a bandaid.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a pair of sandals but I have no regrets. I’ll never go back to regular rubber flip flops again. I have small, narrow feet and have a hard time finding strappy sandals that fit properly, so the dual adjustable straps are perfect.I’ve been wearing them every day for the last three weeks now and am tempted to get another pair in a different colour.I wore them to the beach, kayaking, and on a moderate hike. They don’t get water-logged and clean off really easily – I cleaned mine off by spraying them with my showerhead, it got all the sand out around the straps and the dirt off and they look brand new again. They dried pretty quickly too.Bonus points for the fact that they go with just about anything – jeans, shorts, dresses etc. – will be great for travelling in the future as I’ll only need to bring one pair of shoes for warmer climates.

Best summer purchase. Been wearing for rocky beaches and walking around the city and super comfortable.I read reviews and sized down which worked perfectly. I am usually a size 8 on Nike (like AF1) or Timbs. 37 in birks. I got a size 7 on tevas and it fits perfectly. You don’t want it too large because the front will just be too large and can get caught in stairs or something. I got the black because I intend to go in and out of water, sand etc so I can easily get it dirty. I’m considering a nice color pattern for one I wear around around city, too.
This is my fourth pair of Tevas.
I have worn these sandals nearly every day in the past few years. They last well and are easily cleaned up and are comfortable. My previous ones were black like these but the ones before I must have had four years or more were beige and black. They are heavier but have more support. I love both my Tevas and will continue buying them when they start to look a bit “Tatty”My only criticism is that the velcro sometimes catches on the bottoms of my trousers and starts to shred the material. Iwonder if the straps could be made to completely cover the velcro?

I LOVE tevas. So much that these will be my wedding shoes! The shoe itself is perfect – brand name, exactly what I was expecting when I purchased it. High quality and clearly brand new. I did not experience any discoloration in the product- it is truly perfect and exactly what I wanted!The reason for the 3/5 stars is that the shoe I got does not match the shoe pictured above. I got white tevas- which is great – just not the bright white tevas with the WHITE tag. the tag is black on mine. This is such a small detail and I will not be returning the shoe, but because these are my wedding shoes I was really hoping for the white tag, and I do think the image above should be changed if they are only selling shoes with black tags- as this is not the same model.
I’ve worn Teva sandals for many years now, but this was my first time purchasing the original universal style. I’m between 7 and 8, so I read dozens of reviews hoping they would help me choose. I also went to my local REI store and tried on both sizes. The 7s and 8s fit similarly, so I ended up ordering a size 7. Unfortunately, they did not fit as expected. My feet tend to swell in the summer, and the 7s are rather narrow. My pinky toes were squished and it felt like my toes might slide over the front; my heels didn’t sit right either. Luckily, Amazon’s return process is pretty effortless, so I exchanged them for a size 8, and they fit perfectly! These shoes are beyond comfortable with strong velcro. I have yet to test them kayaking and walking through pluff mud, but I have worn them to the beach many times and they are quick to dry! My Teva Dorado sandals held up through some brutal adventures, so I’m expecting these will too!
