As someone who loves to entertain guests in my kitchen, having extra seating around the island is a must. That’s why I decided to try out the 24-Inch Cushioned Folding Stool, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.Firstly, let’s talk about its sturdiness. Despite its lightweight design, this stool feels remarkably robust when you sit on it. Comfort is another area where this stool shines. Good product – dreadful delivery.
The first delivery was sent loose and unpadded in a box twice it’s size. It was damaged. This was returned. The second was also sent in an overlarge box but fortunately not damaged.The stool is a bit hard to collapse at first, but gets easier. It is quite comfortable and just the right height. If this was in a store I’d go back and buy another, but not if delivery is involved.
Very Sturdy
This a very well product ! The only problem is that it is much higher than the 24″ advertised, which makes it difficult to use with a regular height dining table. But is serves its purpose as an “extra” when needed occasionally.

Dangerous!!!
Completely SHATTERED after just a few months of intermittant use. Bought as extra seating for when guests are over in a small apartment, this stool was used by a single human being of average weight on very sparse occassion over the course of its frankly shockingly short lifetime. As you can see in the photos, all of the rungs and hardware look completely twisted out of place, and the stool sent the user tumbling to the ground when it collapsed underneath her. VERY lucky there was no severe injury. No stool should run the risk of breaking the user’s neck from a fall, but especially not at this incredibly high price tag. We ordered two stools and we will be pitching the second to avoid a repeat.

I took a chance when I ordered these stools as they were priced so low I really didnât know what to expect!. I ordered them for extra seating around my island when entertaining guestsâ¦Maritimers love a good kitchen party! Excellent value for the money! Fold flat easily for storage. Highly recommend!

I needed a third stool for my kitchen island for when I have company, and Walmart discontinued the one that I had bought before, so I couldn’t get another one to match the others. I searched high and low for one that was at least similar. I finally came across this one, and it is very close to the other 2. I was thrilled. It looks great, and is the perfect height for my island. It’s very sturdy, and it conveniently folds up and slides in between my counter and china cabinet when I don’t need it. It’s comfortable and I’m happy I bought it. I thought it was a bit pricy, but it is a quality stool.

I’ve been using stools exactly like this for decades, bought from Walmart and then Amazon. I’m a keyboard player and use these for gigs. Of the half-dozen I’ve had over the years, only one failed — underneath a friend while he was playing my keyboards but he was having too much fun to notice. This particular one, which I see I bought in 2015, is every bit as good as all the rest. I see some reviews that say that the quality had suffered, but those reviews predate my purchase so evidently they have their manufacturing issues fixed.I weigh 175-180 lbs. I wouldn’t recommend it for frequent use by someone weighing over say 250 lbs, unless they’re pretty careful.The pad is not thick; it’s not a cushy comfy stool, but it suits my purpose perfectly, light and folding to a convenient size to pack with all my music gear.Except for the one that failed, all have lasted until they got lost or destroyed. For the price and convenience, you can’t beat it.Update: I got another in 2019 after my house burned down. It’s identical to the others as far as I can tell, so the quality is still good. Also, it’s far more comfortable than my first replacement (which I got from who knows where) because of the angle of the edge of the seat. My first replacement has steeper sides, and is very uncomfortable to sit on or lean on. See photos. The one on the left is this product (Trademark Global), on the right is the Cosco, which looks a bit more rugged, but is uncomfortable as the ridge bites into my thigh.
The stools seem like theyâre decent quality, but both arrived damaged from Amazon. The two stools came half wrapped individually in the manufacturer cellophane, in the same box, with no additional padding. The box they arrived in was damaged from being thrown around (I saw the delivery person do just that), one stool has chips/scratches all around the cushion, and the cushion of the second stool has a permanent dent in it. I filed for a return immediately after opening the box & inspecting the stools. I feel like Iâm returning more Amazon purchases than keeping due to damage.
