Quality barrier sunscreen
One of my children has very fair skin and red-gold hair, plus sensitive to a lot of products (has had face burns from some sunscreens). This sunscreen is a bit annoying to rub in, but less annoying than other zinc type brands. It stood up to 30c+ out paddle boarding on the lake for a couple of hours at a time this summer.
Great Product, but leaves a whitecast
Leaves a SERIOUS whitewash. The only spf50 I’ve found with 20% zinc and mineral sunscreen. I don’t care about the white cast as I wear with makeup after. But make sure u apply several layers and really rub it in. Otherwise get one which is tinted. Next time I’ll get a tinted one this is good for Caucasian skin not skin of color. The zinc oxide is what leaves the cast but for me I don’t care. Great product
Loving the mineral sunscreen over chemical!
I came across this product after looking for a mineral sunscreen to replace my chemical sunscreen in an attempt to be more conscious of products/chemicals. Have only worn this to the beach on one occasion. Smell is fine. Like other reviews of mineral sunscreen, it is quite white and requires you to really rub it in. Texture is more thick than chemical sunscreen which rubs in more easily/quicker. The white sunscreen is helpful though so I can see if Iâve missed anywhere. Reapplied as necessary, no sunburns!
Best Natural Sunscreen I’ve found
Great product. Not thick like other Natural brands. Made my husband a little white but he has dark olive skin. We used it for the first time in Jamaica and we did not tan or burn at all! When we got back people didn’t believe we had gone. We also tried Badger when we were and this was by far the winner. Its smooth, light and has a really nice smell. To apply more easily sometimes I would put on a cream before hand. It would make the sunscreen go on smoother. We were also in the water most of our trip and the sunscreen held up the whole time. Wont buy anything else!
A good tenacious mineral sunscreen that does not sting the eyes; leaves white cast.
This is a good tenacious mineral sunscreen that does not sting the eyes. I have my kids use this one. It can be hard to wash off but that also means that the protection is persistent. It leaves a white cast on the skin, so I don’t use it myself on the face. But it is good to use around the eyes (the white cast helps to lighten the dark circles around my eyes), and then I use a Japanse or Korean sunscreen containing Tinosorb-S on the rest of my face and neck.
The best mineral sunscreen!
This is the only sunscreen that doesnât make my sonâs skin react. I have tried other mineral sunscreens and they still cause a reaction. The texture of this one is so much better than the others – it goes on smoothly and doesnât leave a chalky white hue like other zinc-based sunscreens. I donât love how expensive it is, but itâs totally worth it!
Smells bad, transfers to clothing, very difficult to wash off skin
The initial scent is fine, but after it fades the odor is not pleasant. The sunscreen works very well, but transfers from your skin to your clothing and is very difficult to wash out of your clothing. Does not apply easily to hairy skin, sticks to the hair. Also difficult to wash off your skin. Need strong soap.
As expected
Easy to apply. Given the type of sunscreen does leave a white-ish residue on my skin. Does seem to fade a little bit but noticeable on my darker skin. Overall pleased with the product. For amount of sunscreen our family use does seem a little costly for amount received.
Very pleasant on the skin, did not give my very sensitive skin any irritation, good moisturizer and provided good protection from Aruba sun during swims. Its white – as expected from zinc based sunscreen, but has god absorption and looks OK

In terms of ingredients and effectiveness this is just the best mineral sun cream for kids. It also does well lasting all day when we have to apply before school and canât top up during the school day – havenât had any instances of getting burned. Its only downside is itâs a bit thick to apply compared to others, but thatâs still nothing particularly bad just takes a teeny bit more time. Really recommend!
The product itself very good – especially from the hazards ingredients point of view. It is also moderately white on the skin. So the behaviour – is as I expected. But LOL, the price is crazy! Especially when I know how much it costs on the US market
