The wide toe-box, no heel lift and flexibility of these boots make them an excellent barefoot boot option for those conscious of kiddos developing feet. My son can get these on and off easily on his own. Very happy, will be purchasing more as he grows.

Awesome little boots for thick calves and feet!
My 2 year old LOVES these. He even started dancing right after he put them on and had to go outside immediately to test. They are wide which is great for his chunky thighs and wide feet. Colour is exactly as pictured. These will be great while camping too. We will definitely buy a second pair when he out grows these.
