Absolutely love it. It’s really good quality. I especially love the mat of the farm and the wooden animal figures. We sing Old McDonald with it and take any animal out on random, make the sounds and place on its place on the mat. Fun game of matching the animals to their place on the mat.

My one year old niece is enjoying this cube. It has six different sides from matching shapes to a mini xylophone. The small wooden blocks are perfectly smooth and Iâm not worried about splinters whatsoever.There is also a farm picture mat included inside for an animal matching activity.We are quite happy with it.
Great toy, great value
For $39 (at time of review), this is a fantastic learning cube type toy. It is smaller and lighter than a more expensive one that my sister in-law had gotten from Costco. However, despite being a bit smaller and lighter, the features and the quality are just as good if not better. It also comes with a mat that an be used for tummy time, I guess, or just as a play mat with the wooden figures. I can’t see the figures being a big choking hazard, but with anything that a baby can put in their mouth, or can fit their mouth on, I would suggest supervised playtime. The blind box side is a favorite of my baby’s, as you can hide a toy in to find. We use stuffies and rattle toys, and my daughter loves the “surprise”, and loves to feign “surprise” when she hides her own toys in their to find herself. She also loves for me to find the hidden toy. I can see where this might become a hiding place for a sippy cup full of milk, to rot away in…lol. We go camping a lot in the summer, and this was a great toy to bring on the fifth wheel. It’s like having lots of toys, but also without them being all spread out in the trailer, or getting lost (except for the little wooden figure, but I left those at home so we didn’t misplace them). It’d a fantastic busy-box. Be aware that once the xylophone is discovered to make better music when you hit it with something (like one of the wooden figures) in your hand, that your sanity limits may be tested.
The box is a lot smaller than the pictures lead you to believe.
The kids playing with the product in the Amazon listing must be really small because their box and map is a lot smaller than displayed.After recieving the product I had to double check the product specifications, they do say â17.48 x 16.31 x 16.99 cm; 880 g. Its close.The Wood Box is 15 CM x 15 CM x 15 CM. They must be including some of the things on the surface.The Map’s size is not displayed anywhere I could find but here are the measurements.30.5 X 31 CMLooks like a large napkin.I’m going to keep it for my baby but was a bit anoyed at the size.I’m sure the baby won’t remember the box was small but I will.

A Lovely Toy Solid Enough for a Daycare
What I love:⢠Well designed: there is so much to do, and so many skills to be learned. Even the beads arenât just regular beads. There are slices of orange, watermelon and starfruit plus a strawberry, a bunch of bananas and a cluster of grapes. The shapes arenât just regular shapes, either. For example, the square is actually a red square inside of an orange square inside of a yellow square. One can learn the different colours and count the number of different colours in the same shape.⢠Safe: everything is well sanded, no sharp corners, none of the parts are too small.⢠High quality materials: except for the wire for the maze at the top, everything is wooden. The main box and the little shapes are solid hardwood (maybe oak?) and the animals are 9-layer hardwood.⢠Beautifully made- wood is sanded smooth, no sharp corners, and bright, happy colours⢠Durable- even durable enough for a daycare with rangy kids.⢠Every animal is just adorable. There is a cow, a horse, a pig, a sheep, a dog, a cat, a mouse, a bunny, a chicken and a mallard duck. There is also a little farmer. These little toys on their own make a whimsical set, especially with the play mat thatâs included.⢠Gender neutral: This toy will last for a long time and still look great, so it can be passed down to any baby, girl or boy. The farmer is a child but made so that it can be imagined either to be a boy or a girl.⢠Self-contained: the big maze can be tuned upside down to fit into the cube along with all the extra wooden pieces, the mallet for the glockenspiel, and the play mat.⢠Perfect size for taking with you to a friend’s house or an appointment⢠It even comes in a cute gift box!The glockenspiel isnât tuned AT ALL but in light of everything else, I can let that go.Prior to any discounts or coupons, it costs $40 which is a fair price for this sturdy toy.
Wooden cube for tots
This is a fun wooden activity cube for younger toddlers. There are lots of different activities to keep you child engaged and developing their senses, coordination, and fine motor skills. There is a clock, a xylophone (comes with a wooden baton), a shape sorting game, rotating gears that are easy to turn, a bead maze on top that is like the ones that were always in doctor’s/dentist’s offices, as well as a play mat with corresponding wooden farm animals that baby can match together.The wood is solid and sturdy, the box is well constructed. No sharp edges or corners, it is well sanded to prevent splinters. The pieces are big enough that they shouldn’t pose a choking hazard. The colours are nice and vibrant. The felt is stiff but soft enough to reach through. The wooden maze/shape sorting top part is removable to allow for storage inside.It comes in a fun, brightly coloured box that would make it great for gifting.Lots of activities in one, I would definitely recommend this product.
