My 3 yrs old love these puzzles!They are wooden puzzle, but very safe for kids. No splinters or anything on the wood. The colors are very nice!The puzzle pieces are numbered, so when they grow up, they still can play with this and learn counting them!The puzzles are not too hard for a 3 yrs old. My toddler even mixes all three board pieces and can solve them without too much difficulty. It is great for them to learn about how animals grow up and its body parts too!These came in a shrink wrapped plastic so it is not very attrative if youre thinking about gifting this puzzle set… or plan a box or gift bag for this puzzle.Other than that, this puzzle set is a hit for toddlers!
