When dealing with the elderly, especially those who live in your home and you slowly see their decline with balance and falls in particular plus how hard it is for them to get up, this device is a welcome addition to your medical emergency items. My fella is 92 now and pretty sharp but he falls into the category of weak bones and has fallen a few times and it was near impossible for me to get him back on his feet without an elderly transfer sling. This device is 51â x 9â and it works for me as I am able to manipulate him into a position where I can assist him into getting up. I especially like that this device is lightweight and has two padded plastic handles and how easy it is to use and easily store. It can work just as a transfer sling from bed, wheelchair, car or floor taking the effort out of lifting a patient and minimizing the pressure on yourself. From my experience he shows no discomfort with the process as well and is made to support 330 pounds. In addition it is made of 900D well-made oxford cloth that has been filled with a single soft layer of sponge plus suede leather. From my experience I have not seen rubbing on his skin either. I got this as an additional device to keep in my car for use when we are away from home.

Feels cheap. For 30 bucks i dont think that it is worth it. You’re gonna lift someone with this and if they have poor skin integrity, it could get them injured or something.
This sling is well made. The stitching and components seem to be built for long-term use, and the interior padding is very soft. If I have a paresthesia attack and canât move my arms and legs, even my 4-year-old can pull me into a sitting position with this sling with a little stomach muscle help from me.
