Great purchase, would definitely recommend.
This is a wonderful gift idea, very cool to assemble (a bit hurtful for the fingers, but worth it). Instructions are relatively easy to follow, maybe a bit better than most IKEA assemble instructions. I loved it, definitely a very fun little decoration to have. And yes, if you move it gently, the clock does move. And no, i did not use glue as the instruction asked. So, not so flimsy as it seems.
Best stocking stuffer!
So ordered it for a stocking stuffer but when it came i had to assemble it! Fun and easy to put together. Have to order more now for Christmas, great idea for stocking!
Small and nice – but hard to work with
I have done a couple of 3D wooden puzzles and this one interested me. It is smaller than I thought – but was also reasonably priced. The quality of the wood and the cuts seemed great. The plywood is a little thicker than other puzzles and makes the smaller pieces very difficult remove. Had to figure out a way with a hobby knife as to not hurt myself or ruin the pieces. Also the bottom gear is very small (and very thick) making it difficult to move the parts the way it was intended. Would have been nice to get wax (like other kits) to wax the gears. Overall not bad and looks nice – just difficult to function properly.

Bought this after seeing another reviewer’s video. So I knew it was small and how it worked, and the front and back were equally nice to look at.Some of the very first pieces were too hard to fit into the slots. So I got out the sandpaper/emery board I got from another kit and used it very sparingly on the tabs until the could be pushed in. Was careful not to overdo it because it all needs to hold together firmly and not fall apart due to being too loose.With previous 3D wooden models, the pieces generally need to be pushed tightly together, so that’s what I did with this. But after assembling the whole thing it wouldn’t rotate smoothly. It was very clunky and kept getting stuck. Disappoited! But then I got to troubleshooting.I figured out that all the pieces that slid against each other were pushed too tightly together. So I took a slim paring knife and carefully worked it between where one piece rotated against another and loosened it just enough so it wouldn’t bind. Did this in every spot rotating pieces were touching. Now it all works smoothly. o/I really like this model–it’s very cute. I bought it on sale so it was good value. I wish they would make a larger one. That would be amazing.Tips:- sand lightly where necessary to fit pieces together without breaking- waxing gears helps them to move more smoothly together- ensure moving parts rotate easily next to each other at each step
The wax helps
Some parts are stubborn. Pretty delicate. Looks cool when its complete. Might take some slight adjusting but it works according to the how-to.

Kept me busy for 30 minutes
It looks just like the photo and it’s not very big, it was easy enough to figure out and took about 30 minutes to put together. The gears don’t spin all that well but it’s not a working clock so it’s not that big of a deal. It’s a fun short project if you’re looking for something different or a gift for a budding engineer. The gears have a cool steampunk look, it looks good on a shelf and it is a conversation starter. I thought it would be a good sample to try for a new hobby. It got me to buy other models that turned out to be so tedious that I am contemplating throwing them out in the snow storm to never have to touch them again…but that’s another story.

Het is leuk om te bouwen en het werkt echt zoals omschreven.In de omschrijving word geadviseerd om onderdelen in te waxen met kaarsvet zodat dingen soepel bewegen: doe dit ook echt, anders loopt de klok niet soepel.
Premier achat de ce type de maquette et jâen suis très content. Les pieces sont assez solides. Pas de souci de compréhension du manuel de montage. Il existe dâailleurs pas mal de vidéos . Il manque juste un peu de cire pour que cela soit parfait.
