I love this attachment. I bought it for my Cuisinart mixer and it is easy to attach and make shredded veges to go in a salad. I tried shredding walnuts and it got jammed, but it does well for all types of veges and cheese. Easy to pop in the dishwasher to clean. Satisfied with this purchase.

Really love this shredder. I use it for cheese, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers. It does all of them with ease and is fast. Love that itâs dishwasher safe.

Wonderful inexpensive kit for slicing/dicing/ grating! Half a block of cheese in seconds..Kit will be so handy at garden season time. REALLY enjoying it so far. It works, but it feels cheap
Itâll probably be fine if I treat it like glass. After breaking two (!) of the expensive Kitchen Aid shredder attachments, I figured that if Iâm just going to break them anyway, I might as well buy a much cheaper knockoff. So far so good.

Iâve seen several ads come across FB for a stand alone grater, sold by several company names. I donât buy from those anymore. This one from Amazon fit my needs well! I decided that utilizing my KitchenAid mixer option. It worked very well! Cut a block of cheese into chunks to fit the hopper and it shredded beautifully – and in less than a minute. Clean up was easy!
I was very hesitant to get another attachment for my KitchenAid because trying to use attachments in the past has been difficult, time consuming, and very hard to clean. I did not want to grate 3 lb of cheese for Christmas Mac by hand and broke down and got this product.I was amazed at how well it functioned, and how easy it was to clean up. The ring that keeps the greater inside the cone will only fit if the grading tone is fully inserted. There is a gear at the back that has to match up. That is the only real setup. I graded three textures of cheeses (sharp cheddar, Colby jack, and mozzarella). Each one was easy for the machine to grate but I did notice that greetings slowly on stir or one was more successful for the moisture cheeses. By going slow I did not have a lot of residue build up in between the cone and the insert.I did wash the and feed her that attaches directly to the KitchenAid by hand, but everything else I’ve washed in the dishwasher without issue. The package does come with a cleaning brush to help get into crevices, but after using the pasta extruder (nice but very hard to clean) this cheese grater attachment is a piece of cake.My household loves shredded cheese, and we always buy it pre-shredded. I have made a space on my counter to keep my KitchenAid out so we can always have fresh shredded cheese now. It is the best thing I’ve bought for my KitchenAid.

I bought this to mainly grate blocks of cheese and always have fresh cheese in the freezer. Believe me, it works fantastic. Much easier for me to use. I love Kitchen Aid. Saves money and great to eat.
