Run big, non functional drawstring
I want to start off my review by saying to please not get me wrong, I highly recommend these shorts are they are very comfortable, very stretchy waistband, and cotton fabric to boot! The only down sides for me is the sizing as I find they run larger than the size guide states. For example, my daughter is just under 33lbs and just over 2 years old and just recently had to up her pant size to 3T as she’s also long. BUT…these shorts seem longer than all other shorts I’ve bought from different well known name brand companies and baggier that they almost don’t stay up. Which brings me to my next issue – the non functioning drawstring…it would be great if we could tighten up the waistband line a bit to help them stay up since they’re so baggie. I don’t love that they’re not a very thick pair of shorts so very breathable which is also great for hot weather or for sleeping in. I did originally order the 4T size as based on the size guide she was to best fit in that one but she was swimming in them. I just ordered the 3T size yesterday in hopes those would work much better and yes, they fit much better but still a tad too big. I should’ve bought a size 2T but I am going to keep all the ones I bought as she’ll at least have them to grow into :)I would definitely recommend these shorts, just make sure to buy the correct size. That’s why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because of those two things.
