Great product, double checked readings with laser temp. reader – accurate. Nice long cord & 2 suctions cups really helped ! Used for 10 days testing various faucet temperatures.
Works well
I use this product to measure the water temp when on the boat. The sensor actually stuck to the transom and the unit stuck to the inside wall of the boat even while moving. Quite impressive really. I tested against other thermometers and it is very accurate
Works but temperature is off by a degree (Celsius)
It’s waterproof and digital but not very accurate. I use it for my cold plunge and measured the water with a cooking thermometer and it’s easily 1 degree off. Might not be a concern for general use but in an aquarium where water temp is important, be advised
WAY off reading
I was using them in two fish tanks. One tank the water felt a little warm compared to the 2nd tank (I keep inching the temp up a little because the probe was telling me the tank was only 75, the other tank felt cold in comparison and gauge was saying it was 73.I bought a couple old school thermometers, calibrated them in water and set in tank. the 75 tank was actually 84! and the 73 tank was 77 . Both of the digital probe ones were well off from being an accurate measurement. Its a shame they didn’t work properly, it was very easy to read in a sleek design. Nearly killed all my fish if I trusted the temp and kept increases the water temp. I like it around 80 so it would have been really hot if i went by that temp and probably would have killed everything. glad I decided to investigate and found them to be gunk, all temps on every tank back to normal using old school thermometer now.
Great accurate devices at amazing price.
Package arrived fast and safe. These seemed to be very accurate as they matched the temperature of my other devices very closely. They are eSy to use and set up and excellent value for money.
Didn’t work for long
I bought this for my fish tank and it works for couple months, but now it won’t show the right temp I tried new battery, shutting it off and on, pit it different temperatures. Won’t buy again
One is off
Pretty decent, noted one of the thermometers was actually off by about 5F, contacted vivosun, still no reply. Easy to use

So far this things worked wonders in both my aquariums and vivariums. The little suction cups on both the digital screen and the probe are very handy
I bought these as a backup to my plug in Digital Heater and Digital Thermometer. It’s within 0.1 degrees across the board (all 3 thermometers). I’m extremely satisfied. These look like many on Amazon (I’ve tried others that look the same-bad) but the work. For any aquarium I’d recommend these. It’s peace of mind with a battery backup that’s accurate. Cheap and good? It’s possible.. Here’s the example.
