Good, but Not as Long-Range as Expected
I recently purchased this baby monitor for our family, primarily drawn to its simplicity and long-range capabilities. While it has certainly proven to be easy to set up and functions well for our needs, I must admit that the long-range feature didn’t quite meet our expectations.Setting up the monitor was a breeze. The simplicity of the design is a definite plus for us, as we wanted a fuss-free monitor that would get the job done without any complications.However, we were a bit disappointed to find that the long-range feature isn’t as extensive as advertised. It works well within a reasonable range, but once we move beyond 500 ft, the signal breaks. We were hoping for a bit more flexibility in this regard.Overall, this baby monitor serves its purpose, and we appreciate its simplicity and ease of use. While the long-range feature falls a bit short of our expectations, it still meets our basic monitoring needs effectively.
Good range across floors
I was looking for a non-expensive pet audio monitor and this one fits my needs pretty nicely. I’m using this on the main floor and the unit connects just fine from either upstairs or the basement. Sound is very sensitive so you won’t miss any noise at all.I hate that there is a super loud pre-recorded message every single time you turn both of them back on, something like “don’t sue us if you use them too close to each other and your ears burst”. You can press the “on” button to stop the message but it will be there next time you turn it on. If you keep the transmitter on, the receptor will not play the message but we keep both off during the day.The receptor drains batteries too quickly and we did not attempt to use it with batteries anymore. If our main intent was to use it attached to us with batteries, we would’ve returned it. But for a nightstand monitor works perfect.I recommend this product.
This is a great product and great price
This is a very low-tech tool for child minding. It works throughout my yard and now has a battery backup. I have used one at my son’s house and now purchased one for my own place. I highly recommend this product and the price is excellent.
Does what it needs to do and not much else
This sound monitor is super simple and does what it needs.No problem with connectivity between parent unit and microphone unit. I regularly use the parent monitor about 10 meters away from the microphone with several walls in between.Sound quality is fine and the sound of my child is easily distinguishable while a sound machine produces white noise right next to the microphone.Battery life is mediocre. The microphone unit must be plugged in and is not battery operated. The parent unit has a rechargeable battery in it (comes with product) and can be removed and replaced if you can find the correct battery elsewhere. The rechargeable battery lasts about two days without charging (I use it 3-4 hours per day).The parent unit has a small base and easily tips over with the slightest of bumps. I find this quite annoying but it does stand up when undisturbed.The worst part of this product: The parent unit will turn on without the power button being pushed under two circumstances; (1) when one plugs in the parent unit to charge it and (2) almost directly after one turns off the parent unit. At times, the parent unit will turn on after one or two minutes after turning it off. When it turns on, it will produce a short beep-beep to notify that it has not connected to the microphone unit. Several times I have turned off the unit only for it to turn on again and then it will turn on again after I had turned it off for the second time. This cycle would continue until I unplug the rechargeable battery so that the unit has no access to any power. This solves the issue and it doesn’t resurface for a couple of months.Overall, a good cheap option for a sound monitor. You get what you pay for.

Works good and love the price. Volume is a bit low. And doswnt get much distance. But it’s perfect for me.
