Great unit for the price !
I’ve used it only twice so I can’t attest to the battery life just yet.Video works great , better than I thought it would.Audio is a bit distorted but I don’t think that’s the product I think it’s because we have a fan running in our room.Charges great.We haven’t mounted yet camera yet we just have it free standing for the moment , until we decide on a permanent view (less holes in the wall)Definitely gives me peace of mind with my grandbabies having a nap while nana gets house stuff done.I would buy it again if I needed to. For $50 it’s a decent bang for your buck at least for those with a budget or only using it now and then.Will update if needed.
It works….okay
Pros-It’s not overly expensiveIt works…just not great. It’s like an outdated piece of tech, it’ll do the job but with the bare minimum requirements.The audio portion works well.Daytime vision works well.Cons-Almost 2 months of use and the battery on the receiver dies frequently. It’s now charged nightly and still doesn’t last a full day.Night and daytime vision glitch back and forth which impacts the picture greatly.It’s super bright at night even with the screen brightness all the way dimmed.The eco mode is kind of crappy, it’s delayed to pick up/ turn on.Editing to add that after speaking to customer support (whom were wonderful) they have sent a replacement. I can only assume I got a faulty device after speaking to the service rep. They were so prompt to address the issue and rectify it. I’ve previously owned an older model in 2020 and it worked well so as I said I think it may have been faulty or they wouldn’t stand behind their products so willingly.
Excellent Non- Wifi Option
We have the lollipop and it’s great but we wanted something we could easily pack with us and move around without wifi or draining our phone battery.This is perfect! Clear image and sound and very easy to use. I almost prefer it to the more expensive one.The camera can be a little top heavy if you angle it down without anchoring it with tape , velcro or to a wall but that’s an easy fix. Handheld unit has a good battery life.Camera needs to remain plugged in.
Stopped working after 3 months
This monitor worked great for three months.Purchased in June 2024 and now in September it will no longer charge and stopped working.I need to company to contact me ASAP for a replacement.
A few things to knowâ¦
For me, this camera works but I consider it to be an audio monitor with the bonus of a small image. It has an extremely small monitor. My child is older but I still like to keep an eye on him so this is fine for me. But if youâre expecting soon or need a camera for a younger baby I would not recommend.It does not have any sort of temperature or humidity reading. The monitor image is super tiny and the sound gets very distorted when thereâs crying. It is fine for what I need it for and the price point.

The camera works well, the monitor is clear and the sound is great. We also needed it to be encrypted so it cant be tracked outside of our home. I highly recommend.
My daughter has a dog thatâs blind & hard of hearing. She was going to visit her daughter leaving me in charge of her dog for a few days. Rather than me just sit in her place that is next to mine, I got this monitor, put a bell on him so it would alert me to movement. This monitor worked amazingly! I could continue with my chores & life yet keep an eye on her dog. I could hear the dingle of the little bell on the monitor that alerted me to his movements. My daughter decided I was a genius (& I am) to think of that for a dog. And, she now uses it herself to know when heâs up & needs something. This was so with the excellent price I paid. And, it great for all babies including the four footed.
We bought this in February as a backup because our iPad lost internet connection and we didnât hear our baby crying until she had been for a while. Insert mom guilt, and panic buying this monitor. It worked amazing until the last few weeks. It started turning on and off by itself, and has now decided itâs not going to turn on anymore. Not a terrible price for 6 months of work!***** update 8/29/24 *****Their customer service is FANTASTIC! I was contacted regarding a replacement and a new, upgraded one was just shipped out today. Couldnât have had a better experience!
We just had our 3rd baby and are on the go all the time with our older kids. We were in need of a simple monitor and camera. We love this camera and monitor because we donât have to connect to WiFi. We can plug it in at hotels, family houses, etc and not have to worry about accessing WiFi.Itâs very easy to use. You just set it up where you want and plug it in. It fits perfectly in our diaper bag and is pretty durable when dropped; although, I donât recommend dropping it to test it haha. Overall, we are happy with the picture quality, that you can zoom in, and that you can move about the house while still staying in range.Some people didnât like that you canât talk to your baby through the monitor but since this is something we use on-the-go, we werenât looking for that feature.
Picture is on the grainy side but I figure that’s to be expected with a screen this small at this price point. Other than that it’s great, sound quality is surprisingly good and you can disconnect the parent monitor from the cord and take it around with you. Very nice for a parent to spy on their increasingly mobile baby and thwart all attempts at her hurtling herself bodily down the stairs when you leave the room.My one complaint is that the picture is way too zoomed in and there’s no zoom out (there is a zoom in, with one zoom level). I had to mount the camera pretty far away to get the whole play area in the shot and it’s still not quite the entire area. I know it’s most likely for a crib where the baby is not going to be moving much but it would be nice to have a zoom feature for those using it for active kids.
