A quality toy in an age of plastic, plastic, plastic.
From when I first opened the box, this set breathed quality.The pieces are all high dense hardwood with minimal plastic.The painted finishes are durable and appear to be chip resistant and carries an ASTM certification.The colouring is quite soft and relaxing. This is about having fun.I don’t think you can do much better than this apart from some much higher end European made toys.Lots of play value in this set with plenty of variety.Your girls will have a blast doing salon make believe applying invisible lotions and makeup.Highly recommended.Hopefully you will find this honest review helpful in some way. This toy set from WHOHOLL includes a number of makeup toys that can be used for pretend play in the theme of a beauty salon or spa day. I appreciate that the theme is something that is not so common, children are unlikely to have this type of set in their toy chest already.The pieces are high quality and well made. I am a fan of the durability of these wooden toys. They are made with no sharp edges and are very safe for even younger children as they are very smooth.Kids can play with this and have an imaginary spa day. There are face masks that are made of felt and are soft even when placed on a face. Four different coloured facemasks come in a paper envelope.There are a number of different pieces that are made from wood. Some of the pieces include a hand mirror, 2 cucumber slices and a lotion bottle.There is a small white bag that you can put all of the wooden items into, and it has a draw string to keep it closed. The box is nice and professional and it allows this to make a great gift.

The set is cute durable but the masks disappointed me and my daughters.The mask can cover a 6 months old baby but not the face of a 6 to 10 yrs old. The masks are too small! Even my girls wanted me to play with them which i did but they were sad that the mask could not even fit my 10 yrs old not me but as for me i am ok im an adult but this set of mask should have bigger mask to be honest.

Amazing wooden makeup toy set
What a super cute wooden makeup set! The wood first off is a lovely quality and touch to the hands and the kids really feeling it for a sensory type of learning. The details on the wooden beauty salon items are actually pretty good, but some of them have a few discolouration, so I took off a star for that. I really thought all the pieces themselves were very accessible for the kids’ hands and when the kids are trying out the different beauty salon items to “”do a facial,”” the kids can rearrange them and play with them easily. Another concern is effective cleaning of the wooden blocks but that’s a very minor thing to worry about and certainly you do get what you pay for here at $42
This play-set held up very well in my classroom. I would say for 5 and up some of the pieces are on the smaller side. But even the boys in my class enjoyed playing with this. It was a favorite toy in my room everyone wanted to play with it!
Items in this is so cute! The face mask can be better maybe a diff material so that it makes some sort of an effort to stay on, lol it is just a firm felt sheet that donât ever lay on the face. Other than that the kids play well with other items and seem like good quality item!

I love this for my daughter who wishes to put all kinds of skin care on her face but I wonât let her because sheâs only 10! This will do until she can put more than sunblock on her face
