Wood buckled on arrival. Dangerous for child
Poor safety. Base of the wood where child is standing was buckling and lifting up, leading to major potential for slivers. See photos attached. Had to use tape to secure it down but now surface is very slippery. Extremely disappointed with product. So many look alikes on Amazon. I would just go with another product. Quality not up to par, especially for children.
Itâs decent I suppose
It is one of the cheaper units on the market, so itâs not that surprising to see disappointing quality. Some of the pre assembled pieces are coming appart and require wood glue, while other joints have a 1/4 inch gap that is filled with super glue.Overall though, fast shipping and easy to assemble. Sturdy enough to put my rugrat on it. Iâd probably try a different brand if I were to do it again.

My 17 month old daughter has been using this for the past two months! We set it up in different spots of the house, sometimes at the kitchen island or at the window. It’s very sturdy and priced well.
Defective Item
The main step for children to step on is a split piece of wood. The wood is lifted (not secured) and is a safety concern for the children. This was not a cheap item and the fact it could harm our children is very disappointing.

Minou de deux ans et demi curieux ici qui voulait toujours “coller” quand on est dans la cuisine mais en bout de ligne il voulait voir ce qu’on faisait.Il est parfait pour nous puisqu’on le laisse au bout de notre ilot et il peut facilement y grimper pour nous aider ou observer en cuisine. Il peut aussi facilement le pousser au lavabos pour laver ses petites mains sous notre supervision. Facile à monter et quand même assez solide.
This is a good sturdy childs step stool. I bought this for my grandsons to use when over in the kitchen “helping” me. It is made of decent wood and the bolts holding it together are a good size so are very tight. I also think this was a good price for this item. I would recommend this.
Very compact but protected packaging, comes with 2x spares of each of the screw and nut types. No issues seen like other reviews with missing assembly document (was at the bottom for me). I’ve provided photos of this in case.Perfect hight for our child who’s super happy they can see up on the counter and into the bathroom mirror at tooth brushy time!Putting together took me about 40 minutes, probably 25-35 minutes for someone who doesn’t get distracted and put things upside down.There are LOTS of components and screws, so you might be better to have a powered screwdriver to save your palm muscles.The stand does feel both sturdy and protective for the kid! I would recommend grabbing some rubber stickies or similar for the feet as there’s no protection from flooring (it’s softwood so shouldn’t scratch I suppose) and no grip. I ended up just wrapping some electrical tape for now which works fine.Only minor gripe is that on the lower section has no angle / bevelle so there’s a minor gap on an angle. All this did was confuse me though, rather than affect the stand in any way.Very glad to have gotten this stool stand, so thank you to the seller! Kid is loving being a part of cooking, playing and being more independant already!
Great for toddlers to be close without being held. Must be close enough to avoid falls and a safety strap or chain could be added. Our 18 month old Granddaughter uses hers at the end of the counter to eat breakfast and lunch close to us. Convenient for her Mom.
My toddler has been enjoying using this! He now helps me with cooking and feels very special having him involved in the kitchen watching mummy. The only downside would be hard to assemble
I bought this for my Grandson and he loves it. Easy to assemble, and a great product. Delivery was next day.
