This is a very soft flopsy Holstein Friesian cow entirely made from polyester reclaimed from 16 recycled plastic bottles.The legs are stitched so they say in place when you pick it up; they don’t dangle. The eyes in the picture may look like plastic button eyes, found on most soft-toys/stuffed animals, but these are stitched material. They look like a brown irised eye with a stitch of white in the black stitched ‘pupil’ to simulate a reflection. This means if it’s machine-washed it won’t scratch the eyes. However, the instructions mention this is surface wash only. I think they are made like this as part of the 100% recycled nature of this product. Regular hard plastic eyes, with a metal stud to hold them in place, aren’t made from recycled materials.This cow has a nice expression (it’s mouth is stitched downfacing, so not a ‘happy smile’) and is very soft and fluffy.The hooves and horns are made from a very soft greyish material, complementing the fluffier material well. My son really likes this cow.
