Front seat sunshades
Perfect for front seat windows. They could be double thickness as glare still gets through. Perfect size allows driver to kind of block the sun but allows to still use your mirrors without interference.
I recently purchased these magnetic car window shades hoping to keep my vehicle cooler during the summer months and provide some much-needed shade for my passengers. The dual-layer design, with its combination of a mesh and blackout layer, is a clever idea, and when they stay in place, they do a decent job of blocking sunlight and reducing heat. The option to adjust between full coverage and a half-see mode is also a nice feature, providing flexibility depending on whether I want full privacy or just a bit of shade. The front window shades, designed to maintain visibility while blocking glare, also functioned well enough when they were actually attached to the window.However, the major issue I’ve encountered is their tendency to fall off. The magnets, while advertised as ‘upgraded,’ simply don’t seem strong enough to consistently hold the shades in place, especially on longer drives or when encountering bumps in the road. This is particularly problematic with the larger rear window shades, which, due to their size, seem to be more susceptible to detaching. I’ve found myself having to frequently reattach them, which is both inconvenient and potentially distracting while driving. It’s a shame, because if the magnets were more reliable, these shades would be a solid four-star product. As it stands, the frequent need to readjust them significantly detracts from their overall usefulness. If you’re considering purchasing these, be aware that you might need to find a way to reinforce the magnets, or you may be constantly dealing with them falling off your windows.
When I opened these up they were not what I was expecting because they came in a very small plastic bag.I thought they’d be made of a harder material, but they are a thin, meshy type of material with small magnets in the seams. Honestly, I was not impressed.However, after I put them on my car door around my windows I have to admit I was relieved. They are pretty nifty and work just as they should, the sun is blocked just enough to not blind you from the side.Plus I love feeling a small amount of extra privacy while driving. Although they are very easy to see through.They stick to the metal really well, are easy to attach and unattach, move to a different window or just take off. I love the ease of it all.I’ve come to really like them and I’m glad I choose these over the kind that cling to the window. These just have a neater look.Gotta give ’em 5 stars.
I wish it were designed better and made from higher-quality materials. That said, it definitely gets the job done, and the best feature is the option for total blackout curtains in the back. This would have been incredibly useful for car rides with my baby napping. I also like that thereâs an option for the back window to be completely covered or partially covered.
I do like the idea of this sunshade/screen because I am a bit on the short/average height for women so I get sun beam blasts in the eye OFTEN!!!!! (If only they made standard additional types of shades in cars for shorter people!!!)However, the one thing that I do not like is the looseness of the center and its mix with the air when the window is let down.If I want to roll my window down a bit, it waves pretty aggressively lolSo, I’m going to attach some small suction cups to them so I can cut that down a bit! We’ll see how that works lol
I really like these half shades for visibility. Until I got these, I’ve used the sleeve type on the passenger window but as the driver, I just baked in the sun. They’re easy to install, just pop them on and the magnets keep them on. They’re easy to take down and store when not in use. I couldn’t be happier
