I changed the code on the combination and now it won’t open. I am going to have to rip it off
Bad quality
Used only one week.
I used this lock on a glass door cabinet and it adhered perfectly after multiple uses and it is still holding on. Very easy to install. Definitely a great value for the money.
Although the back is held on with sticky tape, this is a very secure lock to deter entering a filing cabinet. The directions for resetting the combination are in Chinese online, a QR code is included to this link. It is easy to reset the code, and to determine how simply by watching the video, even if Chinese is not understood. Iâm pleased with purchase.
These are fairly large so if youâre needing to keep something heavy locked, these will do it. I wouldnât recommend them for wooden drawers.
This does what it says it does very well. I would recommend it. We used it for a somewhat different purpose to keep a child gate in place that our smart kid could not undo. After a long while of him pulling on the gate the hole where you plug the cord into became distorted and the locking part of the cord would become cockeyed and make it nearly impossible to unlock. Unwanted tugging or pulling on this could cause this issue in any scenario. If there were a small metal ring/collar in place in the hole or some way to not allow the cable lock to move into an odd position it would prevent this.
I followed the instructions exactly for setting the passcode, and the lock no longer works. After I set the code, released the pin, & unlocked the lock, I tried to lock it again. The metal wire just comes right out after I spin the dial to a different number. I’ve tried many times. I even asked a question here, and the seller just gives a copy & paste answer with instructions that I’ve already followed. It doesn’t work!!
