We ordered the soft bristle boar brush and it looks exactly as advertised. Per it’s recommendation, this brush is for people with a low to medium hair fullness – do not buy if you have thick, dense hair! As promised, this brush does a great job with managing flyaway hair when styling or when slicking back your hair in a ponytail/bun. As with boar bristle brushes, it brings out the natural shine to your hair by reducing the frizz so you have that polished look. Though the brush does do a good job, I do wish that the bristles on the brush were longer as it would be more useful when doing other more involved styling.

I wanted a brush with soft bristles that doesn’t hurt the scalp. This brush delivers. The wood finishing is nice.

Would be good for baby or whispy hair
I planned on using this for updos and brushing my hair smooth into a pony tail.In reality, it just made my hair staticy and didn’t work on my thick hair.This would be a good brush for thin hair or children’s hair. It would actually be a good beard brush too.Is well made and good quality. I just would not recommend for long, thick hair.3/5
Doesn’t work for slicking back
Purchased it to use for slick back hairstyles and it does not do anything for slicking hair back. Bristles are way to flimsy and just bend as soon as the brush touches your head. Was hoping the bristles would be more firm and help smooth out bumps of the ponytail but was disappointed to find it does nothing.

I really like this brush for the hair closest to my scalp. Itâs great for creating a slick center or side part. It works really well to keep my âbaby hairsâ down and in place. The brush works very well to make a slick bun or ponytail look. Some product is needed to maintain the look once the brush has been used. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their hair off their face.
