Really fun and good quality!
I hoped they weren’t that fun so we wouldn’t want to buy more… Well, they are, and we do want more!They were 55$ when I purchased them and I think it’s okay for that price (well, it’s still a lot, but it’s acceptable). I wouldn’t buy for 80$ (the price as I’m writing this review), however, as they are really small and it’s a large amount of money. I’ll hope for another discount so we can get more to make larger constructions, eventually!It’s small but it’s nice that it doesn’t take much space and that it can be carried elsewhere easily.The quality seems good (one block was cracked, however), the magnets are okay and it’s nice that the blocks can connect in different places and ways. There are enough blocks to make small constructions, and there are ways to “cheat” so we can use more blocks effectively!(Sorry for my far from perfect English!)

Wish they had these when I was a kid
I just adore this little magnetic building blocks set. First of all the packaging is cute, and they thoughtfully include a bag to store your pieces in. I love the pixelated styling of it, and it just feels like a good quality toy with lots of creativity opportunities.In the kit I ordered there are 123 pieces, with various design stamped on them. And I would add that the quality of the coating is very solid. It’s not a sticker but rather painted on nicely, and I believe these will be durable in the long run.You get a good variety of greenery, brickwork, stones, and a whole selection of little characters and pets. It’s really quite cute and I think it would make an excellent gift as well. I really recommend this and feel the price is also very reasonable for what you get.

Ich bin zwar nicht mehr so in Mincraft, aber meine zwei 9jährigen Neffen umso mehr. Passt, denn ich glaube die haben auch mehr Freude an den Magnetsteinen. Es ist nicht so, dass ich nicht auch gerne so nebenher damit baue. So als Fingerbeschäftigung. Aber da die Magnete leicht rasseln, finden das nicht alle Gesprächsteilnehmer so toll.Das aneinander Reihen macht schon echt Freude. Etwas aufpassen muss man (v.a. als Klemmbaustein-Mensch) da die Gebilde nicht so fest halten, dass man sie hoch heben kann. Aber das lernt man sehr schnell.Den Aufpreis für Mincraft im Vergleich zu anderen Steinen ohne Lizenz-Druck ist schon heftig, wie ich finde.Fazit. gut verarbeitete Steine, die per kleine Magnete in den Ecken sich toll zusammenfügen lassen und super zum Mincraft-Thema passen. Hoher Aufpreis fürs branding- für Fans aber sicher den Mehrwert wert.

This is one of the higher quality magnetic cube playsets with 8-magnets per 2cm (0.8″) cube. Colors are bright and difficult to mar and magnets are strong. This set uses actual textures (unlicensed, I’m sure) from a popular crafting and mining game.The number of each block included is pretty good except for two stray wood slat blocks and two other odd blocks used as a smoking chimney that really don’t look like a smoking chimney. It also feels odd to be given a ton of blocks that are tree texture on all sides but I guess they represent a log cabin. There aren’t quite enough to build a full cabin so I left the back open.This is the first brand of blocks I’ve reviewed where all the product photos show scenes you can actually make with the included blocks. Big kuddos for honesty.When combining sets, beware that some sets contain 1″ blocks instead of the 2cm blocks in this set, while others contain six magnets per cube (one per face) instead of 8 (one per corner). Personally, I prefer 8 magnet, 2cm blocks because they take up less space, are less expensive, and seem to stick together slightly better. But kids may find the 1″ blocks are a better size for using other toy characters with.Each block rattles, which will please young ones. The rattle comes from a magnet near each corner of each cube that can rotate so you can connect any side of any block to adjacent blocks and perfectly align them, or they align on half-block steps as well.Sometimes blocks stick more strongly than other times. I suspect this is because the moving magnets put North poles on one side and South poles on the other, so blocks on the other sides are sticking N/S “sides” of magnets together which is likely a weaker connection. Basically, blocks will stick strongly on the first two opposite sides you connect and more weakly in the other four directions.Each block is plastic outside, formed of a “cup” of plastic with a plastic cap to complete the cube. Colors seem somewhat embedded in the plastic more than printed or stuck on. Whatever the process, it seems durable and is unaffected by light scratching with a fingernail.Overall, the quality of the set makes it worth the price since the magnets used in these blocks are expensive. 5 stars.
