Good camera!
The set up is fairly straight forward. After downloading the app, it walks you through, step by step how to pair it with your wifi and phone. The picture, audio, and mic all work very well. You can set it for color, or night vision, or auto, which is what I leave mine in. At dusk it switches to night mode, and you can see very well. The app is easy to navigate through and free to use. You can also pay for a cloud subscription that will store your captured videos, for now I have chosen to use just the memory card. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget. The only thing is it too bad the price went down 8 days after I bought it!!

I really like this camera. It is affordable and a high quality. You can customized when you want to get a notification on your phone. Easy to set up and access. The night vision was really good too. You can still see the people and its not blurry. It also have a saved file where you can go back and review. It is motion detector so even only it changes light in your room or wherever you put it will alert your phone. Very good product 🙂
Better than expected
Was concerned about buying this “no-name” product but the quality is quite good. No instruction manual or reference to the web app that you need to use it which I find bizarre? Plugged it in and product works well, connected to wifi using the app, and can control the camera remotely, my only remaining concern is security – with all that we’ve heard in the news about “spying” I have no idea if anyone else can access it but it is pointed at my dog’s crate 24/7 so nothing to worry about unless they’re trying to hypnotize my dog and turn her into a rogue operative.I would by another when/if needed.
Amazing security camera and impressive customer support
Six days ago, I ordered this small security camera based on the excellent reviews, the night vision option, the HD video specs and more importantly: connecting to either 2.4 GHZ or 5!What I did not expect is the excellent customer after sales support. When I received my order, it was clear that it was damaged as the box was in bad shape. There was a business card included with the vendor email address. I wrote an email explaining I had received a damaged unit and that I wanted a replacement unit (the $10 discount had expired by then and it was so affordable for a canera connecting on 5 GHZ). I got an answer within 24 hours with confirmation that the security camera would be replaced. I received the replacement yesterday and after following the installationâs instructions (with youtubeâs help), the camera was ready to go. With the volumes of orders processed by Amazon, getting a damaged goods happen from times to times. What counts is how the problem is solved. And in this case, I have nothing but praises to give to this vendor.I am really impressed with all the functionality like the HD recording quality, the recorder itself, the zoom in, the ease in choosing the angles. The colors are excellent and I amreally impressed with the night vision. The app is intuitive and all of this in an affordable security camera.
Bad purchase
I bought it on October 18th and the return window closed on November 18th. On November 25th it started working erratically. I thought it might be a connection error, I reinstalled the camera and reset it and it still doesn’t work. The viewfinder that detects the QR to install it doesn’t work. I tried it manually but this way of installing it is not clear or easy. I tried to call technical support and nothing, I sent an email and at the time of writing this review they have not responded. Also the cable is quite short to plug in and so I have to put an extension just for the camera. When It starts to failure the app said ” Camara offline or wifi disconnect”. So , What can I do now?
Great surveillance camera for the money
I bought this camera to keep an eye on my dog while Iâm away from home. The picture quality and sound are very good and I like that I can talk to my dog (aka âstop barkingâ) remotely. Not sure if she loves it as she looks startled when she hears my voice. Set-up is pretty simple. One thing to note: this camera is not truly wireless and must be plugged in at all times to run. It clearly states this in the description but for some reason I didnât pay attention and missed it. All in all, a superb camera for the price!
Excellent Value – Easy to Setup and Use Remotely
We set our camera up on the floor in our condo looking out over the adjacent street. We are absent for many months at our cottage or travelling. Excellent quality video, easy to pan as required using the excellent App. Highly recommended and great value for such high quality.
Skeptical
It is unfortunate that most cameras do not work with 5GHz network so I do not have many other options. The camera itself works and the video quality is good. Like most cameras on the market, you need to pay for a subscription to see any recorded footage and with pretty much all cameras nowadays, there are security and privacy concerns.The problem is I find that it frequently switches between night vision and regular mode almost like a glitch. There is a loud clicking sound every time it does this which is very annoying. I also wish there was a way to lower the volume. It is too loud for an apartment and scares my cat.The motion detection does not detect my kitten .
