Does the job
I have installed these VMDNODE Child Safety Lock Latches (with Adhesive) on the cabinets holding hazardous materials (e.g., cleaning liquids, sharp tools, etc.) Installation is relatively easy, and the adhesive holds very well.My 4-years toddler, of course, figured it out, but the crawling baby is still unable to open it. Hence, it is put to good use ð
Great safety item for young children
Cabinet locks are a must when it comes to making a safer space for babies. The mechanism of these locks were easy to figure out and installation was quick. They are also easy to open and lock. Another quick feature is that you can cut the length of the strips to fit your need.The 3M tape on the back side stuck on pretty well so far. I installed these on my little oneâs dresser which is made out of wood with a coat of paint on top. I hope the dresser will not be damaged when I remove them later, but seems that it should be ok for now.

Useful and good quality
It took few minutes to understand the product because I had never used anything like this before. But is comes with instructions which helps. These are very high quality product and easy to customize and use. Helped a lot in baby proofing the house.
Not durable . Sticky pad peels off
It doesnât last long at all. Itâs flimsy and comes off its sticky pad within weeks. Had to replace it 3 times already on our cupboard within 2 months so itâs not secure
These are being used on drawers, doors, and the garbage can. They work great on all the above. Haven’t had issues with sticking. I like that you can switch up which side locks or opens. The one year old hasn’t figured them out yet, also a plus. We also didn’t trim any of them. I just positioned them in their full length and they work great.

These locks work great for my cabinets and drawers to keep my one-year-old out of them! They are easy to use and simple enough that I can teach my older kids how to open and close them, but my one-year-old can’t get in, so they work perfectly as intended. They also are great for my closet doors. They really are a one-stop solution for anything that needs to be locked away from the little ones!
So with the strap like locks here, it serves a purpose for select type furniture etc. These for me I used them to keep my pantry and hall sliding doors secure. I have a pet who has learned the art of sliding the doors open, so with that said these need to be placed precisely for my needs. Overall, the quality is great, the mechanism is top notch as far as attaching and removing. Easy peasy. Also the double sided sticky back to attach has held up perfectly. Great buy and i would look for more.
I love the simplicity of these straps/locks. They are very easy for adults to unhook to open (I’ve tried others that are harder for adults to unhook than for the kids!). They are simple to attach to cabinets and you are up and running quickly. The other nice thing if if you don’t want to use them for a while (mine are for visiting grandkids), you just leave the ends attached to the cabinets and drawers and remove the straps. They are not as attractive or hidden away, but they do a great job.
