Best Compost bags for 2.6 containers – strong – no leaks – good size
I have tried numerous compost bags and these are by far the best so far – no need to search any further for a better bag – very strong – no leaking – and just a little bigger than all the others I have tried – this give you a little extra leeway to add some extra compost when you pull the bag out of your 2.6 gal container and lots of extra bag to make tying it off easy – these bags are such a convenient product that I have stocked up on them just incase the product disappears from Amazon’s offerings

Worth it. No complaints. It doesn’t leak, so very useful.

The folded bottom makes it better and it fit very well into the city kitchen compost bin. These bags are quite solid compared to popular brand we used for years. I recommend this product.
Compost really smells bad in these bags
I question whether are truly biodegradable because I noticed since switching to these bags the compost smells really bad. The more expensive ones from local stores donât have this problem. You can fill them over a few days and the compost doesnât smell horrific after a day. I am deodorizing with powder dishwasher detergent to counter the smell. The price and quantity are great though.

Stronger than brand names
We like them a lot as despite not having scented it doesn’t seem to have any noticeable difference and protects versus smells and such. But the big thing is they seem more durable and less “OMG, this better not fall part in the hallway” feeling.Highly recommend for that and of course, you get so many more for the same price as the branded stuff.Highly recommend so far.
Good Quality Bags, But Check Local Composting Rules First!
These biodegradable trash bags are of good quality and eco-friendly, but I ran into an issue with local composting regulations. Hereâs my experience:1. I had to use them for non-compostable trash instead, which defeated the purpose I initially bought them for.5. Transparency Needed: I recommend adding a note to the product description, informing customers that acceptance as compostable varies by municipality. This would help buyers make informed decisions based on their local composting rules.6. Overall Use: Despite this setback, theyâre still good for regular trash and lighter waste. The 200-count pack is convenient and cost-effective for general use.If your local waste management accepts these as compostable, theyâre a great eco-friendly choice. However, I recommend checking with your municipality first to avoid disappointment. Otherwise, theyâre still a durable and reliable option for non-compostable trash.

I tried these repeatedly to see if I was doing something wrong. They definitely leak and I am returning them. Too thin.
