Ordered these for baby food and we are impressed with these. We had one previously for our older kids but once they outgrew it we used it for frozen pureed garlic and ginger so it now has a heavy garlic smell to it…These trays are definitely thicker and the lids actually go on nice and snug unlike our old one that never stayed on well at all.Also very easy to remove the frozen cubes from the trays too.
Ice cube trays
This set of three ice cube trays is great for making and storing your ice cubes. With the 45 cube capacity, each tray holds 15 cubes. They are easy to freeze and easy to remove when you need an ice cube. I have not attempted to use anything other than just water for the ice cubes but you could easily use this for anything you want to freeze. The size of each compartment is a bit small if you are looking to freeze larger quantities of things but because you have so many, you would be able to make several of what you need.The ice cubes last a good amount of time because of their square shape so it’s great for using at a party. The silicone of the trays is of good quality and it releases the ice cubes easily. It doesn’t become stiff with the cold which is a big plus over standard ice cube trays which become hard to work with when frozen. I can easily pop out the ice cubes without even needing the included tongs. I have chosen not to use the tongs because I don’t like the sensation of metal scraping over ice but I can see this being useful for some people to serve the ice cubes. Overall, I really recommend these!
so small that they liquify way to fast in a glass
Obviously they freeze water and come out easily, however they gave u 3 packs that could of just as easily been accomplished by having 2 longer trays with LARGER ice cubes molds, these are so tiny that they melt so quickly in my beverages that it dilutes my drink super quickly, i also have the big balls that i use i just thought these would be larger, is all.
