Duckbills are already separated
Flanges are fine but all four duckbills already show signs of separation
They fit my spectra pump just right. The flange is actually 2 parts which I like better than the one that came with my pump. The opening of the flange is actually oval shaped and has a rubber ring around the outside rather than just round plastic so it fits my breasts better and is more comfortable and gets a better seal. They are easier to put on and wash since they come apart so I feel like I can get them cleaned better than the original ones.

This is compatible with my spectra S1. I like that the part is my size, so I donât have to use the flange inserts- one less thing to wash. Itâs a great price, so was able to buy a couple to last me throughout the day so I donât have to constantly be washing my pump parts throughout the day and just worry about cleaning them at the end of the day. Definitely recommend if you already know your flange size.
The flanges seem durable and are definitely 21mm which is a good alternative to the flanges that are typically included in a Spectra pump. All of the duckbill valves have a slight gap in the (as you can hopefully see in the photo). I was told by a lactation consultant that the gaps in a duckbill at rest will result in slightly reduced suction power, and thus is typically how you know they need to be changed. However, I donât feel like this makes a difference in suction as compared to the other duckbills I have used that have a completely closed seal at rest, but I wonder how long these will last with multiple pump sessions. I already mistake them for flanges I have been using for a while, in which likely should be tossed out. I would hate to throw these away accidentally because I had mistaken them for already being old.
Works great with my spectra gold portable pump. Great quality! I canât tell the difference between my name brand parts and these parts. I love having extra parts on hand.
