The sticker image is heat activated from urine and turns black after it’s cold.
We installed a couple on our toilet bowl and it works only while the urine is touching the sticker, it turns black immediately because the bowl itself is cold. It works best in portable potties that you need to empty the urine from. We dried the toilet bowl before installing and it hasn’t come off in over a month. They are great for potty training because you can use it over and over again until you decide to peel it off.
