I had two very painful road-rash wounds from sliding out on my road bike. Prior to 2nd skin, I tried applying medical manuka honey & wound spray, but it did not come close to the instant relief of 2nd skin! I would clean the wounds each morning apply a spritz of Nexcare wound spray, let it dry, then apply 2nd skin and a bandage to protect it all day. This dramatically helped the healing process. Within 5 days, both wounds were healed to the point where I didnât require bandages.I highly recommend!!
Phenomenal!
I burned myself in the kitchen touching a hot pot, I used several products for a few days without noticing much of a change. The moment I started using this product my arm started to heal. An added bonus was that I stopped getting an irritation from the band aid glue that came with using the other products.

This product is great.I run a catering company and cafe. When someone gets a burn it is bad. These take the pain away and if you leave the pad on for24 hours, the pain doesn’t come back.
Works great on burns
You can cut it to size. Place on top of burn and feel the sting go away immediately. Need to fasten it to injury with bandaids or medical tape. Been using it for years in my commercial kitchen for years.
Excellent
These are incredible to have on hand for burns. I had a second degree burn across the palm of my hand and these saved me from scarring and the pain. Everyone should have them on hand for burns.I just wish the packages came in a variety of sizes. Not all burns are that big and itâs a waste to open a package for a small burn.
Healing
This is the only item that is perfect to place on nasty cuts or bruises. It does not stick to the wound at all and does provide some comfort and healing.
2nd skin moist burn pads
I accidentally got a serious burn of my thumb by pouring boiling soup. Unbearably sore, the nurse helps me with these burning pads. Then I ordered these similar pads for the following care at home. As the name shows, the pad is thin, moist and not adherent to the wound, cold down and painless like magic. I am glad to have discovered the product. Very happy, I have ordered 2 more boxes to fill up my first med kit box.
I burned my forearm on the oven wall. In the past I would just suffer through, keeping the burn as clean as possible and covering it loosely with a band aid if needed. This time I ordered these burn patches. Iâve never used one before, and I was surprised how nice the cooling gel felt. Since the pad doesnât have any adhesive and the burn was in an inconvenient location (there is never a convenient location but some are worse than others) I put a transparent film dressing over it to keep the wound clean. I was able to shower and go about my business every day without harming the burn further while it healed. I would highly recommend buying these and keeping them in you first aid kit!

I never had burn this deep where the air hitting the wound was painful. When I first burned my arm, I just cut a big piece of aloe plant & taped it to my arm. It was bulky & awkward but the aloe jelly stopped the burning.I purchased second skin & it was awesome. It is as thick as a gause pad but made of hydro jel. It’s texture is like the inside of alow. It is soft, moist & cool. It has no adhesive, thank God. I just laid the pads next to each other until the burn was covered. I used a long sock to hold pads onto my, skin on my arm because my skin couldn’t tolerate adhesive. When purchasing the new skin, I also purchased some stockenet to hold the pads on.I bought several products but they had adhesive. The pad wasn’t big enough to cover wound so the adhesive was getting into the wound. OUCH!The New Skin does self adhere with it being sticky but I used the stretchy cotton stockinette to hold the pads in place then & wrapped over the whole arm with a a coban wrap to protect the arm.Great product! New Skin saved me from alot of pain.
Es muy buen tratamiento para quemaduras, sin embargo este tamaño es muy grande y una vez abierto no se puede guardar y conservar correctamente.
