These Medela sanitizing bags are life saver to ease the mind of a new parent. We’re using this with our 2nd kid now.Of course, the first few months of a baby’s life is pretty fragile – you’re hoping their don’t catch a cold, or get sick, fevers are pretty serious, they can’t vocalize when something is wrong… being able to sanitize my bottles is the one thing I insist on for my kids. We use these from 0 to 6 months (after 6 months, we figured the kid could adapt a bit more, have their body system figured out more..)We had tried other brands too – the zip lock isn’t as great as Medela. These are sturdy enough for the 20 uses, they stand properly in the microwave. Easy and simple to use.Highly recommend. Takes no space to store vs the traditional countertop contraption that sanitizes bottle equipment. Fairly priced.
These are a great option for sterilizing bottles, pacifiers and pump parts. Sterilization time is based on microwave wattage. Our microwave is 1100 watts so only takes 90 seconds to sterilize. You can use each bag 20 times so a pack lasts a long time. Don’t add more than 2 oz of water to sterilize or it won’t get hot enough. Add less and according to the directions you could damage the pieces you’re sterilizing. We use these at home but would also be good for traveling.
Let’s face it, when you’re a new mom you buy a lot of things you NEVER use. This isn’t one of those. But to be honest, when I bought them I wasn’t sure these would get used, especially since we weren’t traveling at all with our newborn. However, after spending what felt like forever boiling my bottles and pacifiers on the stove to sanitize them I switched to these bags and never looked back. This is a quick and easy way to sanitize your bottles while traveling AND at home. Great quality and value.
I bought this for my daughter which she has used about 3/4 of a box of bags per month. Each one last a while and works with only 2 min in the microwave. It is very easy to use and will steam the contents. We use it for most things that go into the baby’s mouth. It saves time. It is great for traveling on vacation. These were used in the hospital by the nurses for the babies after birth. That is how I heard of it, GREAT PRODUCT!
These make sterilizing bottle parts so easy. Before finding the years I was boiling a huge pot of water which was taking a long time. These bags do the same job in 90 seconds. You can use each bag up to 20 times. I canât say enough about how convenient and easy to use these are. If you are sterilizing bottles or small parts to anything these are great.
