This is a great gift. Can be used inside or outside. Itâs soft so it doesnât ruin anything. The hover ball is really neat to play with. Love the colours and the lights.
Misleading age
Product is not as described. It says boys 6-12 but when it arrives it clearly says 3+.
Great indoor activity!
My nephew is very active and loves to play sports of all kinds. He is always ready to learn a new game or sport to keep him occupied. This hover soccer ball and hockey set allows him to play indoors when the weather is too cold or bad. So far he’s loving the soccer and hockey. The suction cups on the net allow for safer play by keeping it in place while using. The lights keep him mesmerized while he’s playing. I don’t like how many batteries it takes to run this system. The hover soccer ball takes 4 AA batteries and the hockey ball takes 3 AAA batteries. Definitely a lot of battery consumption, especially if you aren’t using rechargeables. Definitely something to keep in mind.
Good indoor fun
A good toy for those days when going outside isn’t an option. The hoverballs aren’t exactly robust, so you have to treat them with some care, but they’re a lot of fun.This particular set does have a rather large drawback: neither of the hoverballs use built-in rechargeable batteries. Instead, the soccer ball requires 4 AAs while the hockey puck needs 3 AAAs. That’s an awful lot of batteries, and there are versions of this toy available here on Amazon where at least the soccer ball is rechargeable, for a similar price. Something to consider….
Great set
This net and hover ball set is perfect for the boys indoors. Make sure you use this on a solid floor like a kitchen or basement as it struggles a bit on carpet. Easy to setup and take down when you are done playing. Awesome idea!
Soccer ball malfunction – doesnât work! disappointed.
One of the two disk the soccer ball – doesnât work. Only the hockey disk. Very disappointed child.
For my son’s classroom
As the weather gets colder this is for my son’s classroom. Indoor recess fun will be had, this is a great little hover soccer and hockey set. Good for Grade 2-5!
