Animo is a collar mounted device that is designed to be a permanent addition to your dog’s daily care. It learns and interprets the unique behavior patterns of your dog, enabling you to spot significant changes, which could be an indication of illness or distress. A dog’s needs change with age, so thanks to an adaptive algorithm, Animo adjusts to your dog’s requirements as they get older.
When significant changes in your dog’s behavior occur, such as increased barking, scratching or shaking, Animo will send you an alert, enabling you to investigate possible causes as soon as the issue occurs.
At night, it’s likely that you won’t know whether your dog has a restful sleep or not because you will be sleeping too. Animo combines length, continuity and movement during sleep to create a nightly sleep score to help you to spot changes in your dog’s sleeping patterns.

Inaccurate
Had to return it within the first three weeks of receiving it. It was not picking up accurate data. I had to troubleshoot it so many times, and even then it only worked for about three days. Very disappointed. Iâm giving it three stars and not one because maybe I just got a bad unit
Decent for some basic dog data
While it is nice to see how active my dog is, I find that the “Low, Medium and High” accuracy of the workouts isn’t correct.My dog is apparently [almost] always Low activity, or High. There is very rarely a Medium… and this is with her trotting around which should register as Medium(?)The silicone bands can break – so make sure to check them often. I nearly lost my Animo because it had snapped and was hanging by a thread.Another thing I feel that could be improved is the history … I can only go back 11 months. I was really hoping this could track the lifetime of my dog (as I got this a month before I got her) – but it doesn’t appear to.It would have been awesome to be able to track 8 years, if I wanted, and compare my current dog with a future or past dog.
Useful data, easy to sync
We loved the water proof feature. the battery really last for 5 to 6 months and seems that the data is very solid and reliable compared to the data gathered from other devices
Comprei sabendo que não possui GPS. Ele é como se fosse um smart watch: monitora sono, atividade, latidos, calorias, coçar-se e sacudir. Nossa cachorrinha utiliza a mais de 14 dias, tempo suficiente para obter todos os dados. Os perÃodos de latidos não são precisos e não posso afirmar quanto as calorias, mas ele indica alta atividade em momentos em que ela realmente está mais ativa, do mesmo modo com os perÃodos de descanso. Ele será extremamente útil para identificar anormalidades. Tenho interesse em outros itens da marca, o problema é a falta de dinheiro.
Der Tracker ist seit Dezember bei uns im Dauereinsatz und ich muss sagen ich bin positiv überrascht.Ich wollte die Bewegung meines 10 Jahre alten Labradors ein bisschen im Auge behalten.Auch bellen und kratzen werden erfasst, wobei ich sag muss, dass der Tracker den Unterschied zwischen bellen und Mäuse jagen offensichtlich nicht kennt :)Jetzt nach einem halben Jahr warnt die App mich, dass die Batterie innerhalb des nächsten Monats gewechselt werden sollte. Das ist definitiv ein super Ergebnis.Wer also die Bewegung seines Hundes ohne Schnickschnack tracken möchte ist mit dem Teil gut bedient!

I originally purchased this tracker for my very anxious Vizsla. Ensuring he was getting enough rest was vital to his training. As he had allergies, the shaking and scratching indicators were also very attractive (but both are also stress signals). As others point out, the device needs to get to know normal for your dog so you have to wait 14 days for shake and scratch data, but that was fine for me!He was very anxious about hands approaching him. We had a different tracker previously which required you to press to sync, which became a bit dangerous. The Animo syncs regularly by itself! No hands needed! (You have to be in range of course).Sadly, our V crossed the rainbow bridge, but we’ve got a new puppy and it’s back to being super useful! I love the sleep score over night, especially when you’re training a pup, and day time rest.I’m surprised to see poor reviews here as our experience has been amazing. I recommend it regularly, and always get questions about it on my IG when I share the information.
Super produit, comme tous ceux de cette marque, dâailleurs ! Jâai acheté Animo pour une de mes chiennes qui doit perdre du poids et câest vraiment très pratique de se rendre réellement compte de son temps dâactivité au quotidien et des calories quâelle brûle. Et on le voit non seulement avec des chiffres mais également avec des diagrammes, qui permettent de se rendre encore mieux compte de tout cela. On peut également fixer des objectifs de temps dâactivité quotidien et de calories à brûler. Animo le détermine tout seul en faisant une moyenne basée sur la première semaine dâutilisation mais on peut le modifier à sa guise pour lâadapter comme on veut. Jâattends dâailleurs dâen parler avec mon veto pour voir ce quâil pense des objectifs minimum que jâai fixés afin de les ajuster éventuellement.Animo permet aussi de surveiller le sommeil du chien la nuit. Par contre, les horaires définis sont fixes, de minuit à 5h du matin. Jâavoue que cela aurait été mieux de faire une étude du sommeil sur une plage horaire plus grande, au moins jusquâà 6 ou 7h du matin. Ou encore mieux, de pouvoir enclencher nous-mêmes le mode dâétude de sommeil au moment où le chien va se coucher jusquâau moment de son lever.Ensuite, Animo étudie les aboiements, grattements et tremblements. Mais il faut que le traqueur étudie le chien pendant 2 semaines pour cela et je nâen suis pas encore tout à fait là donc je ne peux pas juger cette partie là pour le moment.Lâapplication reliée au traqueur nâest pas encore tout à fait au point, dans le sens où je trouve quâelle plante souvent (mais rassurez-vous, cela ne génère pas de perte de données). Mais bon, ce produit nâest sorti quâen octobre 2018 donc je pense quâils ont encore quelques améliorations à y apporter.Bref, je recommande vraiment ce produit, qui, comme tous les produits de cette marque, est très bien conçu.Seul petit bémol : il faudrait faire un « médaillon » un peu plus petit pour les tout petits chiens, car, dâaccord, ça peut aller, mais câest un peu large, je trouve, quand même. Attention aussi au collier que vous utiliserez car certains colliers comme ceux en simili cuir peuvent provoquer des allergies (je parle en connaissance de cause). Il faut penser que le chien va porter le collier H24 et 7j/7 pendant un long bout de temps donc lui prendre un collier dit « confort » et où il ne risque pas de faire dâallergies.Voilà voilà !
