God send
These have been a total god send – so much better than using regular swaddle blankets. Great fit, and the Velcro is strong. The only thing is that sometimes my little one could ‘break free’ where the bottom of the sac meets the middle part, but it really just created a small hole where her hand could peak through – not a concern in terms of safety. I’m glad I purchased these, and highly recommend them. Especially of your little one constantly breaks free from the regular blankets.

Some important things to know!
First off… as FTM I have purchased a few products from Kea Babies and I absolutely love their brand!I was really excited about these because of the easy change zipper and the overall aesthetic/ material!However… if you don’t swaddle a certain way with these your baby’s hands will poke out by their hips and I have read other reviews saying the fabric then lifted towards the baby’s neck when their arms got free and that DID happen in my case as well, which I then immediately stopped using these.I had been using a different brand and put my baby’s arms both in the main part of the swaddle tight to her body and had 0 Issues with her getting free… but these ones you have to make sure you do the 1 arm in tight to their body inside the main swaddle part, then fold the extra underneath their backs with the 2nd arm still out and then fold the other side over that arm and across their body nice and tight to Velcro it together. That may seem like common sense to some, if you’re used to a blanket type swaddle but since doing it a certain way with my other Velcro swaddles and it working so well, I didn’t even think to change it up and in all honesty the instructions did not make that 100% clear which is why I am writing this review!Another thing to note as well: these did seem a bit big for newborn babies in general! Which may be partly why she wiggled out easier but for safety I would say that these are more for 2months + when baby is a bit longer!

Not for escape Artist babies
I used the muslin swaddle until 7 weeks and decided to try this for the convenience. My son would sink deeper into it and always managed to get his arms out, bringing the swaddle up to his face – of course, you don’t want anything covering your baby’s face, especially while sleeping. It’s been a struggle to keep him in it and the cloth was definitely easier even though I had to rewrap him at night.The zipper is a cool feature but if your baby is like mine and always wakes up for diaper changes, then this will add an extra layer of struggle from all the kicking – would have been easier to take him out of it entirely.I don’t hate it, and don’t think it’s a waste of money by any means, just not for my baby
