Liked the price. Decent build. Good challenge. Missed one piece in the first bag – but put a different piece in its place. But overall decent!
Missing pieces
This was bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter and when she opened it this morning there was missing pieces. Canât even return it because the return window is closed. Would not recommend this item.
great set and a fun challenge
This set was difficult and made for a fun challenge. The instructions are different than regular Lego sets. As long as you pay attention and sort your piece of each bag before hand it is easy to follow along. I was missing 1 piece in one of the bags. Although due to the large amount of extra pieces given it was no problem and was able to use the extra one from another bag. I definitely recommend this set for adults!
OK except delivery

It’s missing all the base plates
It’s missing all the larger plates that is the foundation of the model. I can’t even build it.
The bricks for this are very small. I suggest using tweezers to help put it together. Took me a minute to get it together. The instructions are not bad but could have been better.

I just completed the magic castle with 3000+ pieces. Note that these are not legos but much smaller.It came with 13 individual baggies in a large box. And also included a tool to help disassemble small pieces. Each bag was labelled and a large instruction booklet with diagrams was included.Some steps were very challenging. Especially sorting through a baggie that comes with A LOT of small pieces. But it was still fun. Some tiny pieces had to be put together that were trickey.It took me 2 days to complete and my fingers definitely hurt from pushing tiny pieces together.It was still fun and nice to see the final product.
Overall, this 32 year old woman loved this. But you really need to know your next move before committing. Taking anything apart is a hassle, and unless it is put down the right way it can take a while to put it together.It comes with MANY bags, I forget how many, without a known number order marked. Making me have to look through the closed bag to see if it has the needed pieces to be opened next. I looked through the whole instructions and started putting the bags in order through my guesses to not have to search each time I had to open a new bag.Once a bag was open it took an easy hour to organize the pieces in their piles and assemble. Being easy over 12 bags, took over 12 hours to complete. I would just sit at my desk and do one bag a night, and maybe one while my kid was taking a nap.There was no tool provided to help separate anything and a few pieces easily get knocked off if touched. YET as a franchise fan but no space or money to build a true, huge Lego Hogwarts I love this as a display piece and the time forces to sit, focus, and get lost in the build. Even if I had my husband help a few times when I got frustrated.
