Fun to do, but definitely need a steady hand
Overall is as described, came with extra of a lot if the smaller/easily damaged or lost parts.I found the instructions easy to follow.Fun to do, but definitely need a steady hand as the parts & details are very small & fine (tweezers recommended).
Building materials have an awful odour!
Iâve purchased numerous other Book Nook models. This particular product is very nice looking, and appears to be high quality building pieces, but the wood boards had a horrible smell. I thought that maybe if I let it âair outâ for a while it would get better but the smell just would not dissipate. After a few hours, I couldnât stand the smell any longer, and I repackaged the entire model up again. I doubt I will be able to build this miniature model. Very disappointing.

It looks great but missing glue
I will update when I am able to build it. Glue was not included in the box.
Like IKEA for fairiesâ¦
This kit does work, and it looks amazing when complete. But itâs tiny! It comes in pieces to the extreme. Like IKEA for fairies. Youâll need extra glue, tweezers, q-tips to help with glueing, and tiny, nimble fingers. And patience. Lots and lots of patience! I made this for my Mom. When it arrived, I almost sent it back because of how much work it would be. But I knew she would love it, so I persevered. It took about 24 hours total. I have small hands, and I still struggled, but it was worth it with how much she loved it. Donât buy this if you have a temper or thick fingers, lol.
It came early!
The item came a week early but the box was heavily damaged. :c The contents were safe, but loose items were scattered within. I was expecting all the pieces to be attached and pushed out of the wood, yourself… But hey, you get what you pay for, I suppose. Overall, I am excited to start the assemble, hopefully it is all there. c:
