These rainbow building blocks have had my 2 girls engaged for almost two hours now. They have been stacking them and sorting them, it’s great to see them playing together and actually getting along.The colors are bright and the edges are smooth. The paint on the pieces covers every piece as it should.This is a great way to get the kids away from screens and games. With the variety of shapes and sizes of these blocks, the possibilities are really endless.My kids are problem solving ( figuring out how to build a certain object and which pieces work best), they are working and playing together, they are helping each other and sharing with each other. Best part is, they are using critical thinking skills and are being creative!!So far they have made a concert stage, house, play ground ( see-saw, slide, ramps etc), pies / cakes, rainbows, “packages”- a castle, flower, sun and so much more. I love it!!I will 100% order again, just to have more so they can create even more!!!I think these rainbow building blocks would be great for kids of all ages; 18 months and up. It would help with learning colors, hand/eye coordination, stacking/nesting and much more with children that are younger ie: 18 months of age and older. With toddlers and older kids, they can just have fun. Adding some finger boards would be great too, they can build their own skate park!Five stars for sure!!!
I chose this for my 3 year old son that’s obsessed with rainbows & building. He loved that there were so many pieces. He’s had a wooden rainbow set before, but not one that’s this large. I like that it includes little guys that can balance different pieces on top of them, or you can stack them as well. I do wish the rainbow was accurate to the R.O.Y.G.B.I.V only because my son is on the spectrum & is very aware of the fact that this set is not in that order, lol- but that’s a preference thing. Theres a wide variety of ways to build/play. The wooden pieces are sturdy with no chipping or sharp edges. It’s great for different ages. & The price point is fantastic. Great set!
Color is very bright, the stack wood is not very thick. Quality is at medium level.
I got these because they looked a lot like to rainbow blocks at my local library. When they arrived I realized the were a little smaller than I expected, but that’s entirely on me. Most sets you’ll see in the world at libraries and schools are a bit bigger, but as my son has gotten older, something a little smaller to increase finer motor control actually is beneficial.The the pieces are sturdy and well painted. The finish feels durable. Everything that should be straight is straight and all the curves line up too. The colors are bright and my son is supper happy building rainbows.
