Installed on the fridge door on my 2 year old Freightliner, factory latch getting a bit worn and would occasionally pop open over bad bumps, this holds it securely closed now.Cleaned the plastic well with degreaser first and stuck it on when plastic was warm, stuck firmly.
Feral Toddler
My toddler gets into everything and outsmarts so many locks by pulling them until the adhesives let go but these have stayed in place and are easy to use. Definitely recommend to anyone with persistent kids!
Great concept, good product, sadly poor adhesion.
The product is easy to install and simple to use, but just didn’t stick the first time.I had cleaned and degreased the stainless steel surface before applying, but it still came off. Cleaned the surfaces again and reapplied a second lock; fortunately they came in a muli-pack!I might try using Gorilla brand double-sided mounting tape instead of the supplied adhesive pad if the second fridge door lock doesn’t stick.Pictures show second lock installed, and the remainder of the five pack, with Gorilla Brand mounting tape installed on the first lock, in place of the failed adhesive pads. My back-up plan is ready.

Stiff and difficult to open, and not durable.
It’s very stiff and hurts my thumb and forefinger when I press to open it. It is also not durable. It came off from the wall of the cabinet when our 4 year old grandson had pushed the door and the kitchen cabinets. He can opened it. We wasted three pieces. My son who is 22 said this thing hurts your finger when opening it that’s the same experience with my husband and I.I was excited to open all the three packs that I used first but I haven’t done putting them 2 pieces already came off.I put one on the bottom drawer of the freezer and our 19th month old grandson was showing me the white cap and I almost threw it out but when later I was getting something in the freezer I’ve seen that he took the white cover of the other end of the freezer locks.I will not recommend this product. I’m going to return the other packages.
My upright freezer was not always closing all the way, I needed something that would ensure it was closed and sealed. Installed these so they pull tight on the door and make sure itâs sealed when closed and clasped. This works great and is easy to open.

So, when I received these baby safety locks i was very pleased easy installation, easy everything. But after a week the adhesive back sides folded an stuck to each other shown by the photos posted. I wanted to give five stars but i also wanted it to stick an was going to until they ripped an didnt work. An prior before the adhesive sides folded an ripped an one part stuck to the fridge and the other to itself it was great but a week is as long as it lastest. Also, before applying cleaned the area an followed instructions which are very easy to follow even without them. I dont want to say this is not a great baby lock product but i wish it lasted longer than a week because it is just the adhesive sides.â¢Â I am taking off the adhesive sides and going to replace them with something that’s held my heavy-duty mirror for 8 years. And I hope it works the same. The Brand- is Command brand. Damage-free Hanging âªï¸Holds strongly âªï¸ Removes cleanly. Its the Large picture hanging strips. I am going cut then to size needed then going to make it stick to the product of where the adhesives already are. Then will stick the other side to whatever I am putting it on an then press it together an it’ll stay together hopefully. I do like how this product is made just needs it to stick better an longer.âªï¸Hope those who try out this product have better results. I am still going to go ahead an use the product just going to change the sticky factor to it so it stays better an longer.âAgain product itself is GREAT I like the snap into itself. Very easy to use that part works perfectly fine. Its just the adhesive sticky backside. You could also replace with another adhesive sticky backside if it doesn’t work well for you.
