I wasn’t sure what to buy – I had previously kept a fan on every night, but I wanted something that wasn’t a fan…This has several fan noises and white noises, and I have it set to one of the fan noises every night. It is so easy to turn it on quick (it saves which noise you had it set to), and I have slept through every night since (about a month now). Volume and sound settings are easy to navigate, lots of variety in the volume…If you have issues with background noises like snoring etc, I highly recommend this thing – it is very compact as well, so it doesn’t take up much space and would be good for travel.10/10 wouldn’t want to sleep without this thing now…
Found a Great Way to Help Us Sleep Through the Night.
We purchased this sound machine about three months ago. It has worked great. We live on a busy street and our bedroom is at the front of the house facing the street. We use to use an old CD player with a CD that would play with hours of fan noise. That started wearing out after years of use and were looking for another alternative. We bought this product and have been very happy with it. It has quite a few great options for sound and I think it has great volume control. You may find when first using it that you will have to reset the volume level at the beginning of each night. We did not about the first week or so. But now it stays at the volume level we set from the previous night. I would recommend this product. It may not be for everyone depending on your preferences etc.. But it works great for us.
An insomniacs dream machine!!
It’s taken me 10 years to find a way to sleep properly. Between the bathroom trips, hot flashes and “everything I’ve ever done in my life looping sessions” I haven’t had an out like a light sleeping session since I can remember. Until now.This wondrous little black box has every feature needed to maintain a quality sleep. White noise sounds x 10, true to life fan sounds x 10 plus the perfect customized volume levels you can adjust as needed with the surrounding situation.What I like most about it is the small size, that packs a huge amount of features into it. It can be tucked away in any corner, in a drawer.. or laying on your pillow with you if you get attached enough to call it your new love (which I have). A removable USB cable and wall plug adapter is included, along with a phone number to call and register your new machine, and take advantage of an extended 6 month warranty on it.With the amount of features and quality sounds packed into this little baby, I feel the price tag is more than justifiable. I am pleased to recommend it, and now see why so many others have voted this the #1 sound machine on Amazon!
The best white noise machine you’ll ever own!!
I have never written a review for something in my life, but this little bad boy deserves it. I bought this November 22, 2019 as a last ditch effort to help my baby boy sleep. I’ll tell you, it’s worked like a DREAM for FOUR YEARS. It crapped out on November 17, 2023, but it has given my toddler 4 years of peaceful sleep anywhere we go. The volume range, the different sounds, the ease of use, the transportability, the AMAZING price??? Everything about this machine is just *chef’s kiss*. I recommend it to everyone I know with little babies, and I will be purchasing another one now that mine has finally gone to the sound machine graveyard.

This sound machine is nice and small and portable but packs a punch. There are lots of different options for sounds though I find I only use one. It has quite a range for volume. It can get really loud if thatâs what you need.I use it for my baby every night, all night long plus during nap time and so far itâs been holding up well.The buttons are easy to use and I can operate it in the dark because itâs easy to know which is which.A few suggestions for future models:it would be nice to have the option to go back or forward with sound selection. Right now if you accidentally go past the sound you wanted you have to cycle through them all again from the beginning. That being said the machine remember which sound you left off on so itâs ready to go next time you turn it on.I like that it has a timer but 1hr isnât really long enough. 3 hours would be nice.It would also be nice if in the manual it could tell you what types of sounds (white, brown, pink, fans) are best at masking what types of noises. I just randomly selected a sound that I thought would cover loud footsteps above my babyâs room but honestly I donât know if I picked the most effective one as we do still hear the footsteps…and with 20 sound options Iâd like to select properly (this is not a criticism of the machine and doesnât affect how many stars I gave it, but it is something that would be extremely appreciated and would help me get the most out of the machine knowing I could block all sorts of various noises. Iâm extremely noise sensitive)I love that there is no LED light so it keeps the space dark. I havenât figured out whether it can be used without being plugged in? I thought it could be but mine doesnât.Finally, while not necessary at all for a noise machine, some relaxing waves or sounds of rain would have been a lovely bonus (but I believe the updated version dos have this option).Overall I liked it so much that I purchased a second one.
Very Pleased
This is my first white noise generator, so I don’t have experience with others for reference, but I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate the fan sound reproduction is. It’s also not too high pitched. Something I was concerned about. I genuinely immediately noticed a positive impact on my sleep. I wake up frequently during the night and with this on, I fall back asleep much quicker. I also fall asleep at the beginning quicker as well. Best $30 I’ve spent this year.
I have been using this sound machine for 3 months now. Small and compact but powerful. Helps me sleep better in a loud college apartment. Love the variety of sounds and the sound quality is perfect!
The gift that keeps on giving.I deal with a lot. Construction outside my window, noisy high traffic road, lawn services so loud they sound like they’re in my room, my cats screaming for food outside my door, loud blaring TVs from other rooms, music blasted from stereos heard through the whole house, doors slamming, people yelling, very creaky wooden floors, right next to a bathroom with thin walls, I hear pots clanging from anyone using the kitchen and more.The combination of my noisy fan, A.C. unit and air purifier weren’t enough to drown out any of these noises. After buying, my sense of peace has drastically improved and I’m far less irritated from being woken up. It doesn’t drown out 100% of noise, I still hear the occasional clang from construction, occasional door slam and occasional raised voice (higher pitched it doesn’t blend into the noise machine) but this purchase is absolutely worth it. Before I was scared to make noise in my room, the walls are so thin and I don’t want to wake anyone, but now I sing to myself and can voice chat with friends, play music without worrying about waking anyone else. Had someone come to fix our A.C. about a foot from my door and I had no idea with this wonderful product!It has many different options of noises from so you can find what works best with your brain. Shortly after turning on the machine, the noise of it fades into the background and I forget it’s on. I find my brain does need a break from the noise so I turn it off in the mornings but have used it every single night since I’ve bought it. I can turn the volume up or down depending on what’s needed to drown out the outside and how stressed I am.This is the first review I’ve ever made but this product was so helpful I wanted to tell others! Highly recommend!!
I have one of the standalone lectrofan units, which I absolutely love, but traveling with it felt precarious. I couldn’t find a purpose-made case for it, and while it traveled fine, it felt wrong to keep shoving it in a bag without a care in the world.This little guy has saved my butt. The selection of sounds is lovely, and the slim profile means it’s easy to slip into any random pouch or pocket and then into a bag. Love that it’s usb-c charged, because that’s one less cord to worry about making sure I have. Puts out a great level of sound and keeps me sane when I’m sleeping in new/unfamiliar environments! When I’m not traveling, I actually keep it at my desk (work from home life amirite) for when I need neutral background noise.Perfect little machine. Would not hesitate to buy again!
