Nice Portable Light
This little light is really nice and has a great looking design. The controls are easy to use, which is a big plus. It comes with 3 different temperature modes. A blue, a more neutral, and a warmer setting. I do wish the warmer setting was a bit warmer though. For comparison, I used a photo of a lamp with a 2700K bulb, and this light’s warmest setting doesn’t quite match that, but this is personal preference.It offers a nice selection of brightness levels and is pretty bright at its highest setting. There’s also a convenient hook underneath that you can use to hang the light, which adds to its versatility.My only gripe is that if you leave it plugged in, the light emits a red light, which can cause light pollution in your room. This can be a con if you prefer a pitch black room for sleeping.Pros:- Great looking design- Easy-to-use controls- Multiple temperature modes- Adjustable brightness levels- Convenient hook for hangingCons:- Warmer setting could be warmer- Emits a red light when plugged in, causing light pollutionDespite this minor issue, I still recommend this light if you’re looking for a nice portable option. It’s great overall and serves its purpose well. Just be aware of the red light issue if you’re sensitive to light pollution while sleeping.

This is a review of the WinkleStar Baby Night Light – Nursery Night Light for Kids – 3 Lighting Modes Touch Light – Small Light for Babies – Rechargeable Touch Lamp – Warm Light Lamp – Portable Kids lamp – Battery Night Light.The extremely light weight and compact size, long âshine timeâ, and built in hook (on the base), all make the WinkleStar Baby Night Light a versatile light which can lend itself to uses beyond using the light for kids.These uses might include camping, or creating a nice ambience when sitting around with friends.In addition, the WinkleStar is USB chargeable.While I would like to have seen beyond the 3 different versions of white light available on the WinkleStar, I still think this is a versatile and fun light to have and use.Recommended.YOU SHOULD KNOWThe WinkleStar measures 8 cm High x 7 cm in diameter x 23 cm in circumference (the measurements supplied in the advertising description are wrong)PROS – WHAT I LIKE1. Light can switch between 3 âLighting Modesâ – a âcoolâ white light, warm white light, and warm white light2. The WinkleStar is lightweight (150g, according to the information supplied)3. The WinkleStar has a hidden, foldable hanging bracket, built into the base (SEE PHOTOS).This, and the light weight and compact size of the light, mean that the light could conceivably be used for camping, or in any other context in which being able to have an even source of illumination, and being able to hang the light up is desirable or required – BUT, the WinkleStar provides a general level of illumination, i.e., the unit does not generate enough light to comfortably read a book (without the light being very near the page, and so distracting you), or working on a car engine, if hung in a garage4. The WinkleStar can be used in either Stepped or Stepless Dimming modes, which is useful5. The Baby Night Light can be charged using a USB C to USB C cable, in addition to the supplied USB A to USB C cable6. If you have chosen different brightness levels for one or more of the 3 light Modes, those brightness levels will remain at the last brightness level you have chosen, as long as you do not turn the toggle switch on the back of the unit to âOffâ – this is a really handy feature7. Charge apparently lasts between 8 and 20 hours of continuous use, although I have not tested thatCONS – WHAT I DO NOT LIKE1. It would have been more fun for babies and kids (and adults!) if the light was also capable of displaying multiple colours2. If using this light with babies or kids, a Timer would have been a nice addition3. I have never seen a light like this before which has an âOn / Offâ switch, and I worry that if I forget to turn the switch to âOffâ after I finish using the light, I will deplete the charge4. Turning the light off, and then back on, resets the brightness levels to their minimum setting, and means that I have to reset my desired brightness levels – I find this annoying
A cute and simple nightlight
I use this as my daily driver for a nightlight/reading light, its soft enough to not disturb my partner but strong enough for me to use for reading, also doubling as an emergency light whenever the power goes out, it has 3 color options and I love the soft and warm tones it produces, this is a great nightlight and a great gift for a friend who just had a baby, or just someone that needs a handy nightlight that isn’t overpowering and looks neat and clean on a nightstand, highly recommend this light.
