Good little projects
I like that these are small enough for my kid to complete without losing interest, but rewarding enough that he feels good about himself for completing it.Would recommend.
Grabs their attention but some assembly problems
The kit was very interesting to the kids I tried it with. They naturally gravitated to doing things with it and immediately picked one of the 6 projects each (two kids). One was experienced with Lego beyond their age level, but the other was more of a physical kid, dancer, and so I was surprised by the immediate interest of both of them and their following through until the end of the project.The instructions are largely pictures, presumably to aid in serving a wide audience, but you need to be careful with seeing how some of the wires are dressed/routed in the project, and there was no instruction or example in attaching wires to the motors. This was a weak point since without a reasonable attachment and good current capacity the project will not perform as you would like. I would have soldered the wires to the motor, but not so much for an 8 year old.It would be good if they had pigtails soldered to the motors to allow simply twisting the wiring together, rather than the lug that was on the motor, but did not show pictures suggesting putting the wire through the hole and twisting.On the whole the projects grabbed interest and were done by the kids with interest and thoughtfulness, just what you want out of a STEM kit.Took off a star only for the weakness of instructing the kid how to connect the motor into the circuit.I would recommend the kit. It is a reasonable price, a wide enough range of interests and the kids were attracted to it and thinking about it.
Great set of six fun science-y construction kits for kids.
Our six-year-old grandkid had tons of fun with these kits, did one after the other until they were all done. There were a few places where he needed a little help to fit the pieces together, but that’s fair, the box says 8 years and up.

This was a fantastic kit for getting young children interested in science and STEM activities. The projects are varied and interesting for kids of all ages. The materials in the kit are a nice quality and are easy to put together with the instructions. This is an excellent project for parents to spend time with their children and engage them in learning and fun. My girls loved these projects with my 7 year old enjoying the nightlight best and my 9 year old loved the space model. Overall the kit is excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

These are good and fun to build. My 9 year old found them too hard to make, so I think older kids will appreciate these more. But they work well and are pretty cool.
STEM Kit – 6 Projects
This STEM kit includes 6 different projects with instructions. Everything is relatively easy to assemble, although the wiring is a bit complicated, itâs definitely a great value for the price and educational to boot – a great alternative to screen time! Iâd say the 8-12 range is probably pretty accurate, and I would recommend it!
Fun and Educational Kit for My Daughter
We recently took my daughter to a children’s museum where they had something similar to this toy which children can get their hands at trying different projects. They would eventually unassemble these projects for other children to try. We noticed that my daughter spent a lot of time in this section of the museum and we thought we needed to get her something similar. So we got her this 6-in-1 STEM Kit hoping it would be a fun and creative way to spend time together or with her friends. She loved building the wooden projects, it really sparked her curiosity about how things work. The instructions were clear, and the pieces fit well. The variety of projects kept her interested, and it felt like we were learning while having fun. There 6 projects in total all individually wrapped as you see in the photos. The only minor issue was that some pieces were a bit delicate, so we had to be careful. Overall, this is the perfect gift and a variation from the usual cliche, this is money well spent. A great educational toy for kids!
This is a fantastic STEM kit for the price! I ordered this for my 12-year-old son. We homeschool, and he really enjoys science kits. Each 3D puzzle teaches a different scientific principle. The hydraulic loader and rotating sun, earth, and moon are my favorites! Such a fun way to learn about hydraulics and gear rotation! This kit is a great addition to our study of science. Very happy with it!
This is a cool idea for any kid showing an interest in inventing/building. Depending on the age/ability level, this will require anything from heavy adult involvement to at least help with interpreting the instructions, which could have been clearer. I also feel like the wiring is a bit flimsy, but otherwise it’s pretty cool.
Love these prepackaged little builds!Usually takes less than 20 minutes to build a kit and it’s fun to let your toddler pop the pieces out of the wood template and then of course to decorate the finished project with markers and paint. They cherish each build like it’s a store bought toy they see in commercials.My 5 year old uses the fiber optic lamp as a night light to keep the monsters away still!
