Keeping my toddler safe at her bed
Using this for my toddler’s bed, which is an active “roller”, it keep her on the bed and not falling to the ground. I like how it is easy to take off and put back again with the folding mechanism. However, I found that you need a bit of a heavy mattress to keep the supporting arms fixed underneath the mattress.
Works well, removable cover is washable too!
I got this Gray 32 inch bed rail for my toddler who shifts a lot in bed during thenight.I have laid a carpet below her bed but I needed something better for more safety.Now, the bed rail is very portable, it comes with a thin zippered bag and somestraps.The height is adjustable to support multiple thickness mattresses.Setup was pretty straightforward but I did have to look at the posting picturesbecause the instructions that came with this bed rail were very difficult to understand.I donât know how to efficiently use the straps so I have placed the guard rail as Isaw fit.The rail covers half of the bed so if you need more support you can easily buyanother set.So far, I am pleased with the product because even without the straps, the bed rail does not fall off the bed.The cover is removable so you can easily wash it as well.It has prevented falls so I guess it works out as intended. Only gripe is about the instructions. Other than that, I will recommend the guardrail if you need it for half the length of your bed.
Maybe good even for adults.
A really useful thing to have when you have a bed with no railings. If you find your blankets and you, yourself fall off the bed frequently, this is a great way to fix it. Simple and easy installation.
Great for Sleepovers at the Grandparents!
As a mom, I find this bed rail to be functional for keeping my little one from rolling out of bed. It does the job!**Pros:**1) It works well to prevent my child from falling out of bed.**Cons:**1) Height is a bit lacking: The rail isnât very high, so if you have a thicker mattress, it might not provide a tall enough barrier.2) Short underrails: The metal legs supporting the rail are quite short. I can see it potentially shifting if my child is particularly active. Some other models come with straps and brackets for better stability, which might be more secure.3) Short length: The rail only covers about half the length of a twin mattress. If your child is a restless sleeper, they might end up moving beyond the rail.Overall, itâs a good option, but it would be even better with a bit more height, length, and sturdy support.
Good for travel
This was a lifesaver for us when we were travelling this summer. One of the kids was new to sleeping out of a crib and this was easy to bring along and set up at each rental we stayed at. I could see it being too short if the bed had a really thick mattress, but luckily this wasnât the case for us.
Adult use Only – Doesn’t stay open
I love that this Guard rail folds in on it’s self and can be stored in it’s case when not in use. I would NOT use this on a crib as mentioned in the listing, the instructions included with the rail actually state not to use it with infants or toddlers and that it should only be used by adults. I did find that if the mattress was not covering the bottom portion on the fabric area the sides started to fold in on their own, there’s no lock open option.
Well made and easy to use
This foldable, adjustable bed rail/guard has worked great so far. It was easy to set up, was easy to adjust, was foldable, fit securely under my mattress, and didn’t slip/shift around. The cover is washable, easy to remove and put on, and the fabric doesn’t attract much pet hair, dander, dust, etc. The frame feels durable and well-made; I don’t expect it will bust on me anytime soon. It also came with anchors for those who have lighter mattresses/if it were to start being insecure. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if they made larger lengths of these, and I would have preferred it to have squared, 90-degree angle corners – but that’s just personal preference.
Functional, Easy to Adjust
This is an easy-to-install bed rail. We hand-washed the cover before first use. The easiest way to get the cover on and off is to do so while the main metallic frame is folded. The rail is height adjustable to various levels using a spring locking mechanism, which remains fairly functional at all predetermined heights.We didn’t screw in the railing because our mattress’s weight is more than enough to keep it in place. However, I can see the need to secure it with screws if we needed to use it with a crib or a lighter mattress.I would have preferred it if the height-adjustable metal posts that go on the side of the mattress were even flatter than they are, as I can feel them slightly deforming the mattress. Other than that, this bed rail is very functional, easy to install, and the removable cover, which can be washed, is an added plus for me.
Daughter needed a headboard for her dorm bed and this worked great.
The rail works as intended. I wanted a rail in case I had to cosleep with my little one on vacation and wanted some safety. I did not end up using it but it was nice for peace of mind. The rail is hard not padded. It worked fairly easily. I felt the travel bag it came with was a bit cheap feeling but nice that it came with something!
I’m a two-time buyer of these guard rails. They adjust easily to any height of mattress, are very sturdy and, best of all, fold up into a nice little square and store in the included bag. I bought one, was so pleased, I bought a second for the times I have more than one small child staying the night.
This was perfect for traveling. We purchased 2 because we have 2 toddlers and it worked perfectly!!!!
I was tired of struggling with pillow sliding off the daybed. Now the pillow stays on the bed.
