Puzzle pieces are thick enough to extend above the level of the puzzle board – making it easy for little fingers to grab. Nice colors on the puzzle pieces also.
These are great manipulatives for learning letters and numbers. My friend, who is also a literacy specialist, suggested that I get something like this to help my 2-year old get familiar with letters. He now uses them regular and has lots of fun matching the numbers and letters. We practice sounds and counting as he works with each piece. He has shown so much progress in identifying his numbers and letters since we started playing with them.
Excellent purchase. My granddaughter is 20 months old and loves learning her alphabet with this puzzle. Very smooth surfaces and withstands the use of a toddler.

These letter blocks are the perfect size and have proven to be durable against my 1 year old and 2 1/2 year old. The paint hasnât chipped off and they still look like they did when we first got them several months ago. Very pleased with this purchase.
