This barrier keeps tubing dry by preventing air flow between the expressed milk and pump tubing while pumping. There’s no need to clean the narrow tubing and the milk stays pure.

Worked as expected
Worked as expected. Cleaned in streamer without any issues. I did not steam the tubing. Be careful when cleaning the valves so you donât stretch them out. I used this for the Ameda rental machine from the hospital, prices were similar but no bottles with this kit (I didnât need the bottles).
Open valves, now what?
All 4 of the valves are open. I ordered this kit primarily for replacement valves but figured it wouldnât hurt to replace the other parts as well, but now the valves are useless. My old valves are still closed despite being worn and seem to be made from a higher quality material.Iâm now questioning the rest of the parts as well if theyâve switched to a cheaper supplier. Itâs really unfortunate that there is no direct or clear way to reach customer service through Amazon as simply sending me replacement valves â which they sell separately â would likely solve this issue.I gave birth a week ago, am I really meant to go through the hassle of getting a return label printed somewhere and then going to the post office to return this kit and hoping the replacement isnât equally useless? How about making sure your product is up to standard? Especially for an expensive breast pump. This is is annoying and unacceptable.
I ordered parts for my machine, and this fit perfectly. It came in a plastic bag that looked sterile. Thank you very much

Excellent spare parts kit. Definitely have a few of them on my registry. Got to test it out with my Ameda Purley yours pump as well but as far the the AmedaJoyPlus everything fit as intended. I used my 7 year old valves ( the yellow ones in pictures) to see if that slight opening mattered with suction power, and it DID NOT matter.When the item arrived everything was disassembled. So hoses and white caps/white port that plugs into the pump must be put together. I suggest after putting them together run your finger along the white portions of caps/port to insure no air pockets between white ends and hoses.The suction is great. Had no issues and the small membranes I got did not have slight openings, although positive it wouldn’t mattered since I tested it with my old ones. Like I said I’m going to get a few more and keep them on reserve.
