These are a god send!
I’m a first time mom trying to exclusively breastfeed. Within days of her feeding my nipples were extremely raw & cracked and I felt seering pain everytime I fed her, I dreaded every feed. I also have an inverted nipple that she had difficulty latching onto which made the pain so much worse. Nipple creams were zero help. Just purchased these out of desperation and she latches sooooo easily now and I barely feel anything. My nipples finally have a chance to heal. They’re so cheap if you’re thinking of trying them just do it. Amazing product. Also recommend buying silverettes to wear when not feeding as they’re magic at healing my nipples also!
Game changer
This just made the difference between having to pump and bottle feed or breastfeeding. Baby instantly latched like she never has on my nipple. I almost cried. After so much trying to get her to latch. I was so heart broken having to pump and bottle feed. But no more! I can buy a few packs so I always have clean ones. They are super cheap so affordable to have many pairs. The case that came with sucks though. Has issues closing properly but oh well. The shields work!. Oh and not an ounce of pain like I felt with the poor latch my baby had on my short reluctant to get hard little nipples! Lol.
Helped with my breastfeeding journey
Honestly the only reason I was able to breastfeed my preemie baby with my inverted nipples is using these shields and a pump in style pump from Medela.I know how some people like to hate on these saying it’s harder for the baby to get milk out, but it wasnt the case with us. It actually helped him learn how to latch properly. Hes 3mo now, with practice he turned out to be an excellent sucker. It didn’t cause nipple confusion, and was super easy to wean him from the shield once we didnt need it anymore. Its super thin, easy to attach to your breast, very durable. Did I mention super inexpensive too? Well worth the money.

Comes off during feeding or let’s air in, but works when it doesn’t. Love how thin it is to allow more natural feeling.
Saved my nipples
My nipples were bleeding and after I recovered, I acquired blisters. The nipple shield reduces the pain significantly and I’m still using it. Super easy to clean and durable.

I have an overactive letdown and my almost 2 week old has been having an extremely hard time during feeds, esp. during nighttime when my production is at it’s highest (crying, grunting, fussing, choking, etc). This nipple shield has single handedly saved our breastfeeding journey & my sanity. It collects the milk & she has more control over how much she’s taking in/the flow. We’ve had a full 15 minute feed without any unlatching & crying, and she fell asleep. A win in my book! ðð¼
Exceeded expectations
Bought these to help ease some of the nipple soreness while nursing. Was a little sceptical about if they would really help the discomfort I had, but not only does it help reduce the sucking friction that was irritating my nipples but my childâs latch has improved a lot.They are a little finicky to put on at first, but a little bit of practice and they are now a must have when Iâm breastfeeding.
bought this in desperation middle of the night bc newborn had not been feeding properly, the shield helped baby latch almost immediately, no discomfort is a bonus. material is really thin but stayed in place for the most part. i donât know how long theyâll last but theyâre worth the try.
Aunque se aguadan muy pronto, le doy cinco estrellas porque son excelentes para poder dar pecho y que no te duelen los pezones. Yo las llevé desde el dÃa del parto y me funcionaron muchÃsimo para poder soportar el dolor, que se recuperaran los pezones y continuar dando leche materna. No tuve ningún problema para seguir dando lactancia y mi bebé no se confundió. Volvà a comprar otras de lo mucho que me funcionaron. Después me recomendaron utilizar nuevamente las pezoneras antes de introducir el biberón, para que el Bebe se acostumbrara al plástico y fuera más sencilla la transición y si me funcionó ðð¼
