HelloI bought this set for my 19 month old granddaughter, She is finding the fork and spoon easier to handle. The fork tines rounded and the shorter handles keeps her from injuring herself with a adult fork .. she is a independant little person and wants to feed herself like the big people. . New gift and i have not used in a dishwasher so cannot comment on dishwasher safety.
