Love it and protect the LG 55″ Nanocell TV on the sturdy wooden bookshelf. One screw didn’t go through to the back of the TV. So I went to TSC store and bought one right size of the screw. Everything is holding good and don’t let the TV fall off. It’s worthy investment!!!
Honestly, it may seem silly, but I am giving these 5 stars for the hardware included in the package. The straps are strong (as expected), and the company provides you with 4 unique pairs of bolts (and washers, for small bolts). This all but ensures that they will attach to your television. Also included are a pair of small screws (to anchor to a tv stand) and a pair of long screws (if you choose to attach to wall instead).Fair price, good quality and easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams. They are secure enough that I now have some peace of mind regarding the safety of my curious son.
very good product, very easy to install.Comes with a variety (5 different sizes i believe) of machine screws to attach the straps to the back of your TV. One of the sizes fit my 2014 Sony 60W630B TV perfectly. I would imagine it the supplied screws fit most if not all main manufacturers.It also comes with 2 different size wood screws to drill into your wall/furniture for the other end of the strap.The straps themselves are sturdy, and the length is very easily adjustable.A+ product all around, gives me a good peace of mind that the TV won’t fall.
This is a superior product. It arrives with all necessary hardware. There is a selection of finely wrought bolts designed to fit the mounting holes on the back of (presumably all) flat screen TVs, and a selection of wood screws that can be used to attach to either furniture or wall. Unlike every other product I considered, the attachment brackets and buckle are metal, and the web strap is thick and substantial. Having become accustomed to the usual trash from China, this product feels “Made in the USA”. It was easy to install and adjust. I highly recommend.
I read a lot of reviews and compared the plastic buckles to the metal buckles that this one has. I don’t have children to knock the TV down but we exercise and play video games with this TV, and it was slightly wobbly with all that jumping around. The straps were easy to attach to the tv and the stand that it is on. Best to have a drill for making holes in your stand if that is how you want to secure your television.I am happy with the straps, they seem to be of good quality and they haven’t come loose. Get these!
This product is well-reviewed for attaching heavy furniture and TVs to the wall, but I wanted to add that it is also perfect for those cheap cube shelving units. I was worried about a brace that depended upon drilling into the furniture, because I didn’t think that screws would hold firmly; it’s that cheap, thin compressed wood. I instead looped the strap completely around the entire wall of the unit, and then bolted both end brackets to a wall stud. I used one strap on each side near the top, took advantage of the buckle to pull the strap super tight, and it feels *extremely* secure. I think it would hold an adult’s weight. I don’t think I could’ve gotten something anywhere near this secure if I used a setup that depended upon bolting into the furniture itself.There were several extra inches in the strap, so this tactic will probably work for any cube-type shelving even if yours is a little deeper than mine.Â
