Good thermometer, accurate
This is a good thermometer for fridges and freezers, the device allows you to see the temperature of your fridge or freezer and works well. The thermometer has appropriately sized letters and numbers which allows you to quickly read the temperature. The thermometer is accurate.

I bought two of these thermometers to use in a number of fridges and freezers. Works okay. I found they can be about one or two deg out. Accurate enough for food use.It is a good idea to have refrigeration thermometers inside of the fridge to verify the temperature. There can be an event where the cooling system in the fridge is not working properly. When opening the fridge door you will be able to see at a glance the temperature inside of the fridge.The quality and accuracy of this model of this thermometer model is a good deal for the price.
Work as their suppose too
I like them to monitor new refrigerators to make sure they are operating properly. They are small and can hang from shelving or just sit on shelving.

Difficult to be certain of accuracy and longevity.
Use these primarily for bread making where I believed temperature rates were crucial. Of course itâs difficult to be certain of accuracy without having at least one device is known to be accurate. While in several tests these two devices provided similar readings it does not ensure that either are accurate. These guages have displayed varying degrees of difference with the oven temperature readings (mostly indicating that the oven temperature has been above that indicated by 4 to 8 % at 400 and 425 F bake and convection oven settings. Not surprising even from a fairly new and high end oven with probe controlled temperature bake and roast capability, etc yet not effective at assessing temperature accuracy of either.Nevertheless, have dialed back a few degrees when making bread without negative results so perhaps small fluctuations in baking temperatures are not as crucial as believed.After a couple of months of periodic use they appear to be holding up.
Calibration is key
Required the dual pack, one for refrigerator with other for separate freezer. Everything looked to be functioning correctly however when we dealt with recent power outagesâ¦we realized that the unit in the fridge was reading below the âREFâ range. The fridge has its own readings on the door. Thus we calibrated to room temperature & now we know one is incorrect but once we do the proper calculations, can manage.
I put one in the fridge and the other one in the freezer. They are working flawlessly.
These are great little thermometers, I got two because my oven can be a little wonky at times and I needed to make sure it was heating correctly to bake my bread. Great value for the price.
