Best time to take a reading? You can take readings twice a day, at the same general times each day. For example, once in the morning and once at night for comparison purposes. You should be able to insert 1 finger between the cuff and your arm. Can I move while measuring? Moving while measuring, including talking while measuring, will influence your results. Good blood pressure monitor for the price
This is a good blood pressure monitor for this price. It has the basic functions and the reading is quite accurate for me. The display is clear and easy to read. The armband is big enough and easy to use. Iâm happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a basic daily use blood pressure monitor.

This is a functioning BP monitor cuff, it does work. You will want to test it against a regularly calibrated BP monitor every once in a while if it is off then stop using it unless you can get it calibrated as BP isn’t a thing to pass off.The cuff it comes with was to small for my pregnant partner who was the inspiration of getting this on top of calibrating my smart watch off of it (calibrate meaning checking both readings and if they are close use them as general information). However the one time I needed to use it for her because they said to watch it after a high BP test they did PP we couldn’t really use the reading as the cuff was too small (still velcros up but outside of the markings on the cuff). This isn’t all this products fault but as someone that doesn’t usually need to know cuff sizing I didn’t think to check. But if it came with a cuff size up or made it more obvious then it would’ve been better.Using it on myself it was slightly to small but gave my a slightly more normal reading, but still not accurate (my fault for size).It takes 4 AAA batteries, and comes with a cord but no batteries. I didn’t realize the batteries at first and wondered why it wasn’t charging. You can use this plugged in without batteries or you can use it unplugged with batteries.It has memory that only goes to i think like 2035 or 2039 after which either ignore dating or replace it. Getting those set up is confusing as well as setting up the 2 people and memories for them. I simply ignore all of that and just use it for a BP reading and track that elsewhere.

Works quickly, is a great portable size with a pouch and gives accurate readings. A super good purchase for anyone needing a personal BP monitor!

Started to malfunction and bruised me
It seemed to work very well at first but after a couple weeks it has started to malfunction. At first it was just error sometimes which is fine it happens. Now it started to overfill, and it already seemed tighter than a regular one. It has bruised my arm and it messed up multiple times. There are ones that are portable for the same price, I am returning. That’s not supposed to happen. I think they make the bands too big for me, as well. In addition to this the velcro is already starting to wear.

While the bag is suitable for purpose, considering the target audience of a device of this type, it should be brightly coloured and labelled for ease in locating it (IE: does that storage bag have a BP monitor, an air duster, a lifting strap or something else in it. – pet peeve).If you need a clinical grade device, this is not it. For casual monitoring it is an acceptable solution and a very good value.
