So firstly, you won’t need the Nanit Travel Stand to use this. I tired of the reviewers saying you can’t use a third party stand without the travel stand, also those online reviewers that go out of their way to claim they weren’t paid by Nanit. I have the Nanit Pro wall mount version and I use the wall ‘stand’/mount that came with that.About this stand. The quality is much better than I expected. I like the smooth white coating on the surface of each metal segment. It does not like a rush job. It looks and feels really nice. The base of the stand has this thin soft velvety material that is soft, so it’s safe to place on hard surfaces like tiles. The top segment is flexible which helps. There’s also rose gold coloured metal parts that help adjust the height. Overall the stand is good quality and looks nice.The stand comes with 3 attachments that help to mount your camera in different ways. For Nanit Pro (wall mount version), use the clamp attachment that comes with the stand. Only issue is the clamp attachment is black plastic which may not fit with your aesthetic. I had the exact same clamp except with white plastic that came with another camera mount I bought in the past. The clamp screws into the 1/4 inch thread at the top of the stand. The clamp clamps onto the wall mount that comes with the Nanit Pro wall mount version. Because it’s using the wall mount, it’s not limiting the features of the app, unlike the Nanit travel stand.There is one more option to mount this, however I haven’t tried it. The Nanit Pro wall mount has a mounting plate with a ‘key hole’ and a water level. There is a plastic attachment that comes with this stand that can fit into that ‘key hole’ however, you would need to cut some of the plastic to make it fit. It’s hard to explain without pictures. Just wanted to share this information because it is hard to choose a stand when you’ve already spent so much money on the camera.

So far so good, it is very effective for overhead viewing using my hellobaby camera and I like the weighted base and the smooth texture of the poles. It has a lot of different connectors for other types of monitors. I am happy!
