Designed for children, but loved by this adult for sleep prep and mood relaxation
I realize this is designed for children, but as an adult, I enjoy putting it on before bed and watching the ebb and flow of colours and stars and just get lost in them. I’ve been trying to cut out screens before sleep, apart from reading before sleep (which can be stimulating on it’s own) this is another great way to really wind down body and mind, especially if you pair it with the right music or even nature sounds.There are other similar projectors, but this one has features that many don’t – the nature sound effects, the pairing with an app, the Bluetooth speaker. The speaker itself isn’t the most amazing Bluetooth speaker, but for its purpose it’s really okay.The app is easy to download and navigate, there is a screen for colour control of the ‘nebula’, in this window you can also control the brightness and pulse as well as control whether the rocket is lit up or not (as an adult I prefer it not lit up, but can imagine children would like it lit up or even to use as a night light) this window also has a countdown and timer. When you swipe to the next screen, you can control the stars being on or off as well as their brightness (I personally don’t love the green colour of the stars, I would love it if they were white… but they’re easy to control), the next window is for music/audio control. You can choose BT (Bluetooth) which allows you to use the speaker to play music already existing on your device or you can choose the natural audio effects already loaded, there are 15 different sounds (nature sounds + one static) The music rhythm is linked to the light pulsation, for me, this is a little aggressive for both Bluetooth music as well as the nature sounds. The last window is “Scenes” with both preloaded as well as customizable colour/star combinations.This surfing astronaut is the 3rd generation and they’ve come a long way, the only thing I would love to add is the Alexa feature to be able to use voice commands from bed or another room, but the remote control and phone app are both very convenient, so there’s no complaints.The remote does not come with batteries, but honestly, I’d rather use my phone to control it as it’s more convenient that a remote anyway.All in all, as an adult, I love it, but I can imagine children would also be thrilled with it.

The built-in Bluetooth speaker and pre-loaded noise options are fantastic features, though the speaker quality is average. The main limitation is the laser starlight’s color, which is only green and non-adjustable.💰 Price:Considering the range of features and the quality of the product, the price seems justified. While the product might seem a bit expensive, its unique features like app integration, customizable themes, and additional sound options provide good value for money.🏆 Overall:Overall, the third generation of this galaxy projector is a delightful upgrade, making it a worthwhile investment even for those who own previous models. Its ability to create a mesmerizing atmosphere with various color and theme options is impressive. The easy-to-use app and the option of using a remote control add to its convenience. While it is designed for children, adults will find it equally enjoyable for relaxation and winding down before bed. The only notable improvements could be the inclusion of a power adapter and more color options for the laser starlight.

It was exactly what it said it is! I bought this for my granddaughter and she fell in love with it! I turn it on and use it as a nightlight in her room. Well worth the price!

Great for the young or the young at heart. Lights up your room in an interesting way. Has different settings and options and plays music too. The sound quality could be better, but overall, this would make a great gift.
