This is an initial review of the product just installed, and I will update if the longevity of the product isn’t up to standards; but as of installation the seat seems great. The slow close works very well and it was very straight forward to install. Fits a standard toilet fine, perhaps a tiny bit small but that’s an opinion probably as I’m a big guy. Overall very pleased.
I live in a small house, and counter space is a precious commodity. So, I often sit on the toilet lid as a makeshift seat to apply my makeup. This slow-close quiet lid is a lifesaver! Installation was a breeze, and cleaning is simple. It’s exactly what I wanted in a new toilet lid, especially with the quiet close feature â no more slamming lids waking up my roommates!One Thing to Consider for Lid SittersThere is one caveat to mention, though. If you, like me, sometimes sit on the lid itself (and let’s be honest, in a tiny bathroom, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do), the seat may shift slightly. It’s perfectly sturdy for regular toilet use, but it might not be the most comfortable throne for a makeup session.OverallMinor lid-sitting wobble aside, I’m very happy with this toilet lid. The slow-close feature is fantastic, and it’s easy to install and clean. Highly recommend, especially for those who value peace and quiet in the bathroom (and who maybe have a bit more space than a makeup-applying toilet lid perch!).
Easy to install seems to be sturdy enough even though the seat is not solid is not as easy to clean has curves and nooks hard to get to with a brush I clean it with a cloth and bleach but closes easy and quite over all is good seat
This toilet seat is exceptionally thin. The seat I removed was 3 inches thicker than this seat. Even when following the directions to a tea, the seat slides across the toilet, which feels a bit frightening when youâre not expecting it. I have not had this issue before and it just seems like the fastening system of the seats under par. It did have a low price point and based on that fact loan, the seat is decent, but I was just surprised how small and tiny it was.
Good standard quality. Fits well. About half an inch shorter than my original toilet seat, but still good. It has slotted (placement) washers. I positioned the slotted washers so the seat slightly moves forward (away from the tank). I LIKE that it DOESN’T slam down (my old seat’s slamming noise scared my cats) 🙂
